Waqas Asif was atleast knowledgeable with the vehicle and thats the only positive thing I can say about him. An hour before our scheduled appointment I received a call from Waqas saying "you know its night time and you won't be able to see the true color of the car so, would you rather come in tomorrow instead" and insisted the weather for following day will be sunny, werein its going to snow. Strike 1, since when do you hear a car salesman push customer a way? Strike 2, You don't tell customer that if ever you decide to purchase a car you'll be here for a while and its late already. Strike 3, when you schedule a test drive for a specific car you would atleast expect that the car is somewhat ready to be driven but no we have to go to the muddy lot to pick it up, such a waste of time. When we finally decided with the car considering the circumstances of all the negative things I mentioned the price was just too hard to let go. The car we sold them was my wife's Toyota Solara '07. Waqas didn't have the tools to get the tags off the Solara so we were promised that it will be FedEx the following day but a week has pass and we have been communicating through text. I asked him that very following Tuesday if he can give me the tracking no. for the tags, his response was I have it on my desk but I'm not at work today. Okay I texted the following day and no text back so, I called the dealer directly on Friday two days after I texted him and come to find out that the tags where still sitting at his desk. FYI all the text messages made by Waqas is saved and I'll be more than happy to forward everything if needed. Lisa Light promised us that she is the sync girl and that she will set up our phones to sync with the car but it never happened come to find out when the car is finally ready she was nowhere to be found sigh.. I didn't know its optional now when you purchase a brand new car that you get to drive it home with less than a quarter tank apparently Waqas didn't have the voucher to get gas. And offered us that we can take the car as is and just take it some other day to have it detailed because it will take longer and it's late already, I mean IT's A BRAND NEW CAR!!! ENOUGH SAID! Would you take home a filthy BRAND NEW CAR? Infairness to Waqas, yahoo! a positive thing! He offered that we can take it back anytime to get the full tank. I was willing to let go of everything but what pissed me off the most are the tags just come clean and there is no need to lie. I guess I won't be taking my car in for service at any Ted Britt who knows if they're lying as well with the maintenance of my vehicle. Too bad my sister and In-laws were planning on purchasing a FORD EXPLORER but not with Ted Britt anymore if I can only take the car back I will in a heartbeat. Overall all experience with this place In a scale 1 to 10 it's a resounding low 9 and I'm being generous with this rating. This review will be also be in Yelp and Ford forums. Managers of Ted Britt step up and your apologies are nothing if you're not doing anything to fix them. More
I walked in there with an open mind and the staff really took care of me and walked me through the car buying process. They helped me get out of my lease and get me into a great new Fusion Hybrid. I worked with Henry on getting our 2014 escape, they did not have exactly what I wanted but what I came away with is more car then expected and not that much more in price. So for once walked away feeling good about the price and the car. This is the 2nd time I have purchased a vehicle from them. It was a long day trying to find what I wanted and to get the price I needed but in the end got both. Henry offered to get us food because he knew we were there for a while and made sure we got taken care of. When our time comes for another car will call them and call Henry. My blood is blue so always drive a Ford. Thank you all at Ted Britt. Also Lisa that helped with the deal...she hooked it up as well. More
Here is my review for the purchase of an F-150 in February 2014. I expressed interest in purchasing an F-150 over the internet and was contacted by Leonia Durant to set up an appointment to come i February 2014. I had printouts from the vehicles I was considering and presented them to Ms. Durant. She looked them up and found that one was already sold, but the other one was still there. Luckily for me it was the one I was wanting more anyway. She took me on the test drive and I was pleased that we actually drove in various areas with different speeds and traffic patterns. After the test drive I agreed to work on some pricing. This is the part I was not looking forward too and one of the reasons I had waited 10 years to purchase another vehicle. I am not patient when it comes to haggling and in the past I have gotten pretty disrespectful towards sale people because I have felt they were not taking my interests into consideration. While going over the pricing with Ms. Durant I did not get that feeling and it actually felt like a business transaction instead of a head butting contest. Her demeanor was calm and agreeable. Next I met the Customer Service Rep, Lisa Light. She was also very helpful and intent on answering questions that I had. She was not pushy in trying to get me to add on additional items I didn't want or was not interested in. She was very knowledgeable about the information she spoke about. She also explained the interactive aspects of the truck that I had no idea about how to use. Lastly, the Finance Service Rep, Jimmy Son, was helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure I was comfortable with my monthly financing and explained some of the added benefits of the different warranties. He gave good advice that seemed to be in my best interest. All in all, it was not a bad experience and rather pleasant. I am pleased and satisfied with the purchase I made. I will go back to Ted Britt in the future to buy vehicles. And he took care of all the nagging details, including moving everything from my old car to my new car. He even moved my sun glassed in the roof compartment, which I thought I had left behind. Lisa Light's effervesence was contagious. A real delight to talk to and work with! Over 5 decades, I've purchased at least 10 cars, but I always turned down the surface protection applicatiion, until now. Lisa's enthusiasm, and more importantly, her obvious belief in her product convinced to me purchase it this time. And her assistance in syncing my technology was immeasurable. Jimmy Son made the fincial experience very pleasant, which I'm sure is quite a feat. His detailed and clear explanation of the costs and services made my decisions easy. And his unique talent of writing upside down is not only an art, but a very effective communications tool. In all, Ted Britt has a sales team to be proud of, and having used their service group in the past, I'mm looking forward to an exceptional long-term relationship. Bill Lawson More

The two are very personable, positive attitude, knowledgeable, in their respective job duties. It was truly a pleasure buying a vehicle at Ted Britt Ford Lincoln.
