I've been a Ford owner for 24 years. When it came time to get another new car, I headed to Ted Britt of Chantilly first. I had been getting my Escort serviced there for years so it just seemed right. One of my friends thought I might like a KIA. While the KIA was nice, it just did give me the same feeling that driving a Ford did. The service and sales staff at Ted Britt are wonderful and worked very hard to get me and my family in the right vehicle for us. My new 2014 Explorer XLT is fantastic! More

Mary Burroughs did a fine job linking our phones to the blue tooth, even though I am too old to understand everything she did. I took her word for it and it works just fine. Period. She is adorable. Ted Britt should give them both a raise. I will love my new fancy car and will keep it a long time, I hope. I would buy another car from this dealership. I hope they continue with this high degree of service as we get to know each other better. BB More

Our salesman, Mike K, took the time to understand our needs, provide suggestions, and let us make informed decisions. No pressure, no hype. The entire staff made us feel comfortable and at ease. I had my elderly father with me and a horrible headache and they made every effort to make us comfortable and speed up the process. Lisa L and Matt A were amazing and super nice. Everyone seemed genuine and not just putting on a show and smile to make a sell. We plan to return for future purchases. More

I spoke with John Church, the internet sales consultant the day p I had a pleasant experience with my auto purchase at Tedd Britt Ford-Chantilly, VA. I spoke with John Church, the internet sales consultant the day prior to going to the dealership. I went to the dealership with no "appointment". I had done a lot of research and knew through their website auto inventory that they had a Ford Fusion with the exterior colors, interior colors, and options that my wife and I were looking for. John Church gave me a drive off the lot total cost/price (over the phone). Having done a lot of shopping and research on-line, including estimating what the actual dealer cost was and all the "hidden cost/miscellaneous fees" might be, I felt like their internet price was actually a good price. I really didn't feel like I had much room to "haggle" with. Whitney Sullivan was the salesman whom I worked with. He was cordial, knowlegable, and low pressure. After a test drive, I definitely decided that it was the car for me so sat down we did the paperwork. I'm glad he asked who my employer was, because he volunteered that I could get a few more hundred dollars off through them. This, plus another "trick" saved me almost $1000 off the price that I was prepared to pay. Customer service reps, Mary Burroughs and Jennifer Wainwright were very nice and were very helpful in explaining some of the features of "SYNCH W/ MYFORD" and "MY FORD TOUCH Package". Also, finance manager, Matt Aglio was very pleasant to work with. Overall, buying a vehicle from Tedd Britt Ford of Chantilly, VA was a pleasant experience for someone who doesn't like the whole car shopping experience. Maybe I'm a sucker, but I drove my Fusion off the lot feeling that I got it at a fair/reasonable price and dealt with some good people. More
wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!!!! I've bought 2 trucks from them. Trusted them for years. Took my Expedition in for rough idle, stalling, #1 Piston fault code showed up for my husband. I've bought 2 trucks from them. Trusted them for years. Took my Expedition in for rough idle, stalling, #1 Piston fault code showed up for my husband. Asked them to fix it, they swore over and over new spark plugs would solve the problem, I knew they wouldn't but they were SO sure. 100 miles later the valve is now lodged in my piston....engine is toast. Their negligent repair costed me $5,000. BEWARE!!! mechanics there are not trained and just want to get you in and out, they dont care to take the extra 10 minutes to properly diagnose the problem. BEWARE!!! More

Mike Asay met me as I entered - explained differences and benefits between various models and stayed with the sale until he was finally able to deliver the Edge Limited and complete the transaction. Lisa Light explained in detail, several service options and additional services that are available. She assured me that she will assist with any future customer service scenarios where I feel I might need support. Finally, Matt Aglio efficiently stepped me through what seemed like an entire file drawer of paperwork and completed the entire process without error. Worst Experience Ever I walked into this dealership with cash in hand and was given the run around from every one to include, sales, management, and finance. I was lied to I walked into this dealership with cash in hand and was given the run around from every one to include, sales, management, and finance. I was lied to about the new vehicle, which had sustained lot damage and was concealed until AFTER I signed all the purchase documents. Once the egregious error was discovered, I was passed around and given half solutions to a very real problem. Customer service management was rude and unwilling to accommodate requests. Finance 'lost' my check, gave someone else check to my husband to sign, sent a check to the wrong financial institution and finally, sat on the payoff so long, the account incurred late charges, even after I had given them a THIRTY DAY pay-off amount. From start to finish the transaction took OVER 5 WEEKS. Additionally, I doubt this review will be posted on the site since it is derogatory and the site states "If your review does not answer “why” you have given the rating you have, it will not be accepted." Shocking. If you REALLY have to have a ford. Try a different dealer. One that will actually value you as a customer and recognize that you have a choice and you have chosen them. Ted Britt was described to me by another Ford dealership as "the spoiled mean older brother who doesnt play nice with other dealerships". Pretty accurate. Save yourself some time and a headache. go somewhere else. More
