The vehicle seemed real good during the test drive, needed tires, but seemed in decent shape. We drove it 15 minutes towards home and noise started under the hood. Bottom line was that a secondary catalytic converter was shot and making noise. I think a longer test drive would have demonstrated this problem. Did they know, I'm pretty sure they did. Vehicle was purchased "as is" 3. They have a 495.00 "dealer fee" which they say they use to pay for any necessary repairs to make sure the vehicle passes inspection. I did not take it figuring the first 495.00 I spent would go towards things that I wanted my mechanic to fix, not their mechanic. 4. Offer a 299.00 window etching, skipped on this as well.
