After seeing a new KIA Optima we wanted to test drive one. The folks at Team Gunther KIA were very accommodating to our schedule and sales rep, Bill Buckley was particularly helpful. We have purchased numerous new vehicles during the past 20 years and we have never had such a delightful buying experience. Mr. Buckley understood our interests and we never felt pressured by anyone in the sales department. The owner, Josh Gunther, explained our trade in value in great detail and he made every effort to present us with the best possible deal. We could not help but notice the respect the Team Gunther staff demonstrated towards Josh and his wife, Ashley, during the time we spent at the dealership. We have been driving the Optima for several months and we are THRILLED with the performance of the vehicle. We would also like to commend the service department who handled our first oil change. We strongly recommend Team Gunther KIA (and in particular, the OPTIMA)! More

We drove from out of state to purchase a used vehicle, only to discover that it was not as it had been represented on the phone. Jason sweet talked us into a deal, and gave plenty of assurances that it had a warranty, and all would be taken care of. After signing the paperwork, he locked the doors and drove away - leaving us with a vehicle we quickly discovered to have a number of serious flaws. I had to being the vehicle back in (what a drive!) for them to perform the Safety Inspection (mandatory PRIOR TO SALE), and at that point got into a yelling match with Jason, who stormed out and threw my paperwork down. More assurances from others that things would be taken care of. Months have gone by, and for the most part they do not return our letters or phone calls. We have contacted the BBB, the Attorney General, and others. Also read my complaint on The Squeaky Wheel site. We are now exchanging letters with their attorney. All we want is a token settlement to help with the obvious repairs! More
My experience was very good. My trade was apprasied wile at lunch with my brother and salesman Bob. We fairly quickly got to the bottom line. Car was cleaned and full of gas. Had a good time there. I have dealt with Gary Oneal for the last 10 years and have bought a new car from him every time. I could not ask for a better service department. Went to look and potentially buy. Was offered an amazing deal on a program vehicle (Serento), w quote good until closing on Monday. Went to shop and compare, then called and said would be back within 30 min deal on a program vehicle (Serento), w quote good until closing on Monday. Was called back two minutes before arriving at the dealership and told they could not do the deal because they "made a mistake" on the quote. They will say any thing to get you to sit down and try to sell you! More
The sales team at Pensacola Kia Autosport was very nice. The problem is how they did business. I was looking at a Kia Soul Plus. The advertised price is not what you can buy the vehicle for. Pensacola Autosport adds $4000 .....yes $4000 to the MSRP. I have never seen anything like this. Then they told me they could give me $4000 on my trade. My trade was worth probably around $1200-$1500. So if you add $4000 then take off $4000 for my trade i just bought a vehicle full price and you got my trade for free. The model I was looking at was the 2011 Kia Soul Plus manual transmission. After they ran the numbers on the vehicle with an MSRP of $15495 it came out to well over $19000. Needless to say I was upset at the games. I left that day and called other local dealerships. I was surprised to find that there were some other dealerships that played this same game. I then called Team Gunther Kia in Daphne, AL. I spoke with Jason Bradley and told him about the price we got in Pensacola. He told me to come over and they would take care of me. I know thats what they all say but Jason was not lying about it. At Team Gunther Kia I was immediately welcomed by Brian Williams. He was very polite and very helpful. At no time was he pushy or rude. I never felt pressured to by. Jason was out for a few minutes sow Brian showed us around and showed myself and my wife a few different souls. Jason arrived shortly after and he provided the same service. Friendly, respectful, and laid back. Team Gunther Kia lets their business ethics and buying experience speak for itself. I found a 2011 Kia in the Ignition color. We liked the vehicle but it had the $500 speaker upgrade, $250 Homelink mirror upgrade, and a few other upgrades that I wasn't really looking for. Brian and Jason said they would work on the numbers and see what they could do. They ended up coming out $14200 with my trade and down payment out the door. $14200!!! For a vehicle with an automatic and all the extra upgrades! $5000 less than Pensacola Kia Autosport for a better model! No games. No xx. Killer service. It was the most pleasant buying experiences I have ever had. I always dread looking for new cars but Team Gunther Kia was a breath of fresh air. Our Soul is awesome.
