Finance Warning. REVIEW ALL FINANCE DOCUMENTS IN PRINTED FORM BEFORE SIGNING ON THEIR MAGIC ELECTRONIC CHEAT DESK. We purchased two new Hondas in one week. Our experi REVIEW ALL FINANCE DOCUMENTS IN PRINTED FORM BEFORE SIGNING ON THEIR MAGIC ELECTRONIC CHEAT DESK. We purchased two new Hondas in one week. Our experience with sales was good but the finance department is full of crooks or incompetent finance mangers. We had two different finance people for our two cars. One added $2000 that should have not been there and then lied to us about HMC finance offers available for the model we were purchasing. When we pointed out the extra line adding $2000 he was like how did that get there. he was the one who entered all the financials. Then we were told we had to buy an extended warranty to get the attractive 3.9%. he then lowered the price of the warranty so that it was almost an even swap for the lower rate. We took the rate and upon driving home we noticed Honda was offering 3.9% on all CRV's. We had to go back present our case to get the refund on the warranty. This did not lower our payment because it comes off the backend of the loan. Dane tricked us once trying to sneak in the extra $2000 then made us have a higher payment by shoving the warranty down our throats. On the second car the finance and sales department talked my son buying his first new car into a payment of $540 when he went to finance he was given a line of Mumbo Jumbo and his payment was now $640. You would think the finance manager would have looked at the deal and something is wrong but he did not he pushed the payment. Using the electronic desk Gillman is able to sell cars without the buyer ever seeing an entire document. You can only look at one page at a time. So the finance mgr tried slipping in $4000 worth of warranties. When it came time to talk about warranties he said I understand you don't want any warranties so we will skip that part. he purchased the car and then they give you the final paperwork all folded in a envelope. Once you take the envelope the conversation quickly goes to taking delivery. I imagine this is to misdirect you from reviewing the sales agreement. When he returned home we reviewed the paperwork and could not figure out how the sales price was so much vs the sticker price the warranty lines did not show on his paperwork. We called and made an appointment with the General Manager for 1PM on a Thursday my son had to take off work and drive across town. We waited at least 20 minutes for the General Manager to come down he never did or even responded to us. I assume the text messages I presumed were from him leading up the meeting were actually from someone else. he is either scared to represent his dealership or he spearheads the trickery that goes on here. Once the sales manager came out and explained the pricing on the car which was accurate they then had us go to finance. Our first question was how is it he signed off on a payment of $560 but you contracted him at $645. After careful review he said oh I see the computer added a bunch of warranty coverage to the accessory package you purchased. Once again a finance manager Effe who is responsible for entering and reviewing a contract before he presents it to the customer found a huge error that could have only been entered manually by him. Do you see the pattern. The entire dealership knows this is going on and they all play the same game I am not sure what happened you will need to talk to finance. This is BS! shortly after a car deal is done everyone knows how much they made on a deal. The Sales persons commission goes up on warranty sales so does the finance managers. Every was aware they tried to rip us off. I know because I worked in the industry for three years. They are shameless they always call it a accident or mistake but it is a calculated move on their part. BE WARNED AT GILLMAN NORTH HONDA ask them to print all the documents and review them before you sign. You will then be able see all line items and the thousands they have added by mistake (or is it). When we took it out on them in the survey they called us and acted like we did something wrong. lets see two cars two lies and $6500 in mistakes we had to take off work drive across town to get it fixed. Does this seem like the kind of experience that deserves 10 out of 10. I think not. More

But this… THIS experience was one. for. the. books! Team Gillman Honda North was truly exceptional from start to finish. When I called, I spoke with Craig, Finance Director, who provided a warm welcome. From greetings and salutations to positive vibes and reassurance, the conversation was nothing short of a delight! Craig took my name and my number and assured someone would call me back in… SIXTY seconds! And, much to my surprise, the phone began to ring! No. Way! Denise, Sales Specialist, calling to welcome me to Team Gillman Honda North and asking how she could assist me throughout my car buying journey. There are absolutely no words to describe Denise and what she did for me! ::speechless:: Denise went above and beyond…ABOVE. AND. BEYOND! to not only ensure I got exactly what I wanted, but to make. sure. I was taken care of EVERY. Step. Of. The. Way! #SatisfactionGuaranteed And, last but not least, Efe, FinanceManager. Efe explained everything I needed to know and more! And more! And even when I didn’t understand, he would explain it again! The patience… unmatched. He allowed me to take my time and read, then reread and then read it again. He created packages, I changed my mind and he created packages again. Aaand only for me to go back to the very first package we created. #TrueStory #oopsy And, not to mention I got to meet some pretty amazing people along the way… Craig, Denise, Efe, Yaya and Armando! Y’all are dope in real life! Thank you! I cannot thank you enough! I appreciate you more than you know! Horrible customer service. My mother in law purchase a battery from this location. Note this isn't the location she got her car from , but was the closest location to where she My mother in law purchase a battery from this location. Note this isn't the location she got her car from , but was the closest location to where she lives to get a new battery. They gave her a 100 month warranty battery which they have not honored.. their system supposedly do not have record of the transaction. When my wife went up there she literally got cuss out by a rep in the office saying "I ain't looking up xxxx" I have never heard of a dealership doing this. The battery literally says Honda and 100 month warranty on the battery. Horrible place. More
