Team Ford Lincoln responded

Team Ford Lincoln performed a diagnosis due to the headlight being inoperative, received authorization of the repair from your aftermarket warranty and then performed the repair and collected the customer pay portion of the deductible per the CarMax warranty. The aftermarket warranty authorized the replacement of the one failed headlight and not the other. We requested an authorization for the replacement of the other headlight, however, they declined. Team Ford Lincoln has worked tirelessly with both the aftermarket warranty company and the dealer where the vehicle was originally purchased in hopes of them authorizing an acceptation as we have no control of their in house policies and procedures. Team Fiord Lincoln has given the inoperative headlight back at your request and provided a quote for the replacement of the other headlight without labor for the installation so that it would match, out of good will. In which you declined. We have made efforts to satisfy your automotive needs reasonably. Nobody told me until after the fact that i would not have matching headlights. Your service advisor is supposed to call and give me updates about my truck and he did not. You people should be ashamed of yourselfs taking advantage of regular working people during a pandemic! All you did was pass the blame to other people and not even acknowledge that your service advisor failed to do his job and inform the customer that he would not have matching headlights. Nobody warned me about it until after the fact. You did nothing to try and repair my issue other than gave me the run around. You failed to perform your duty. You should have warned me about the warranty company only approving one headlight before you decided that it was an acceptable repair to only change 1 headlight and not let the customer know or ask for permission from the owner of the vehicle if its ok to only replace 1 headlight leaving me with mix matched headlights
