I went to the service center to do a routine maintenance and the initial appointment went well. They were helpful even when it took much longer than they estimated. Things happen right? I was told I had an and the initial appointment went well. They were helpful even when it took much longer than they estimated. Things happen right? I was told I had an oil leak. I made an appointment and brought it back to get the leak fixed. They checked and they said I had to have a filter checked (not urgent) and that my coolant (I believe) was in the red. I had just had a full checkup. I questioned it. They explained the filter being in the yellow that any dirt will put it in the yellow even though it was a new filter. The coolant should have been checked. This was disconcerting. Were they trying to charge me twice or did they not check what they should have? It ended up they would complete the coolant service for free. Then they told me that I had to leave the car overnight. No big deal except they told me the day of the service, I had not made arrangements (because they didn't tell me in advance) and they didn't have a rental car. Now I am getting upset. I took my time to get a service done and now I am starting to feel disrespected. I had to go home after taking the day off to get this done. My time and money wasted. Now it has been over a week since they told me they would call me when a rental would be available. I called three times. Once to the manager the day I went home on the day I went to get the service done. They have not called me. I called again two more times to see if I could schedule an appointment and they said yes but there is no guarantee there will be a rental. That I have to drop what I am doing when they call and are ready for me. This seems a bit off. I happened to get a Friday off at work and don't work Saturday so I called to make an appointment to leave the car overnight. No call back to schedule. I feel like my time is being disrespected, I feel like I can't trust them to be honest, their communication is lacking, and that their sense of urgency (I am going on a trip later this summer and commute so I don't want my car to have more issues if this is not taken care of in a timely manner) to help a customer who called and left three messages without getting a call back. It seems unprofessional. More
