I would not recommend Taylor Ford service department. My father recently went in to have his truck looked at. He purchased it from taylor ford and it was still under warranty. He had some problems with the power steering in which they fixed. He also could not open the back door of his pick up truck. The handle was broken. They told him it was not under warranty and would cost $240 to fix. He decided to not get it fixed and then was charged $100 because they looked at it and told him it was broken. Are you kidding me?!? He knew it was broken that is why he brought it to be fixed. I don't know what kind of genius mechanic it took to figure out it was broken and why it would cost $100 to be looked at. Absolutely ridiculous you would charge a loyal customer that kind of money to tell them something was broken that they already knew was broken. More
We dropped off our two vehicles for routine maintenance and every person we dealt with in the service department was fantastic. We dealt mainly with Mr. Sherry, who treated us with the utmost respect and h and every person we dealt with in the service department was fantastic. I had called 5 other dealerships that day and none were as will to help me solve my problem as Chris was. I had an intermitant problem with my F-150 and within the first two minutes of our conversation he as will to help me solve my problem as Chris was. I had an intermitant problem with my F-150 and within the first two minutes of our conversation he was confidant that he knew what the problem was and got my car in that afternoon to be serviced. it was covered under warranty and I had my truck back the next day. It was Thursday afternoon at 3:15 that I left my truck there and picked it up the next day repaired.All the other dealerships I called told me the couldn't even look at it until the following Monday or Tuesday. Taylor Ford is not the closest dealership to me but I plan on bringing my truck to them for all my service needs. I also had an Issue with the Aux input jack on my radio. the tech checked it and said it was fine but chris went and got a cable and showed me with his ipod that it did work. I could not be more happy with the service I recieved from taylor ford and Chris. This is one of the few times that I felt a dealer actually wanted my buisness. More

No fast talk or trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I didnt need.He even showed me how to use it since I never had one before. Polite,smiles,caring and knows what he's doing. He needs recognition for his actions. I noticed a shift shudder shortly after purchasing my car and dropped the vehicle off to have it checked out. I met with service writer Jeff Sherry and advised him of the concern. I was a mechanic when I was younger and now I work specifically diagnosing hard to resolve automotive concerns with dealers in a lot of market areas. Its good to have a service writer that has worked in the field and understands a customers concern technically and can assist with getting the vehicle fixed. I've worked with writers before that can write down anything you tell them but have little technical aptitude as far as the theory and operation of the vehicle which can cause confusion between the customer and the service department. I got the vehicle back last night after they performed a valvebody replacement and the car shifts great. I'm very satisified with the level and quality of workmanship with this dealer. The repair did take a couple of days but can be expected with the new years holiday. More
Taylor Ford is one of the best dealerships I have ever had the plesure to deal with. The employees are always very helpful and kind, and a pleasure to deal with!!! Was told that my truck was running bad due to fuel pump, not the EGR valve that was under warranty, and wanted me to spend $600 to fix the fuel pump. I told them that the last time I brung it in it acted th not the EGR valve that was under warranty, and wanted me to spend $600 to fix the fuel pump. I told them that the last time I brung it in it acted the same way and it was the EGR valve, and how come when I step on the gas it doesn't stutter or bog down only when just setting at a stop. So I went and picked it up ,after paying $125 for them to even look at it I took it to Gorno Ford and in a hour they had it fixed free of charge , when I asked what was wrong with it they said their computer told them it was a dirty EGR valve and it was under warranty. I told them what Taylor Ford said about it being the fuel pump and they laughed and told me it couldn't have been that, we drove it after we fixed it and it runs fine now and it did when I drove it to. Now they will not refund my money at Taylor Ford. I had taken my truck there 5 times for different things, and every time they would hit me with a big bill, now I wonder how many times they just charged me for nothing. Stir clear of Taylor Ford they are scam artists and will charge you for extra work that is not needed. They lost out on my business because after all said and done I traded that truck in on a new loaded 2010 F-150 FX4 the other day and told all my family that works at Ford to stay away from Taylor Ford and 5 of us work or have worked for Ford, so thats a lot of A plan they will never see from us. I'm not saying go to Gorno but they did treat me good , but I am saying don't go to Taylor Ford. More
