We were looking to trade in our old van for a used car, so we called and talked to John Crawford. He asked us what we were looking for in a used vehicle so he could look at the inventory that was not yet so we called and talked to John Crawford. When we arrived at the dealership, he was waiting at the door to greet us. We have never met before today, but it was like he knew who we were. How cool is that! He worked with us on finding the car we wanted. John was professional, without the condescending pushy salesman attitude. Very welcoming personality. Just so you know.. If or when John reads this, I hate doing surveys! He was awesome enough to write this shout out about him. Thank you! More

He works at Taylor Dodge in Kankakee. I called my son-n-law Friday and said lets go test drive some cars. My son told his friend AKA salesman for Taylor Dodge what kind of vehicles I was wanting to test drive and most important a price that was my bottom line of paying for a vehicle. I said if he can't show me some vehicles in my price range I am not dealing with them. He said his buddy will take care of u mom. So I went to meet this so called awesome salesman as my son-n-law refers to him as. Guess what now I feel the same way about him too!! His name is Ray Marko. I can say without a doubt he is the most, professional salesman I have ever dealt with, but with a very personal stake in his clients. what I mean by that is he listened to exactly what I was looking for, pulled up 3 vehicles for test driving, but while I was test driving Ray was sitting behind me, just chatting like he has known me all my life. I could very well relate to him and his funny side. But at the end of the night at 9:30 well after closing, I was on the fence with 2 vehicles. I was torn between a van and a Dodge Journey. Ray said take this Journey home drive it around and bring it back 2morrow. I will not lie, while in route to return the vehicle and test drive the van with my husband in hand, we stopped at the local Ford Dealer to test drive a few of their vehicles. I liked the car, but the salesman rubbed me the wrong way. I said lets go, I feel like they don't want to listen and would not deal with me on prices to anything on their lot. I returned my Journey, as u can see, I said "MY JOURNEY" because I was greeted by Ray and I felt like I was home. Ray made the whole vehicle experience calming, fun, and peaceful. I had my financing set but Ray talked us into applying there for financing. I didn't want to b/c our credit union is so great on interest rates, but again, he knew what he was talking about. Thank goodness I did b/c I saved myself more than 3%. That saved us several dollars on interest, so on that note we also took that savings and bought an extended warranty with that and still kept our payments under the budget that my husband and I set in the first place. Thanks to all the wonderful people at Taylor Dodge, there isn't a doubt in my mind that this was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. If you want great service and a person who is so informative about the vehicles you are looking at, PLEASE go and see Ray Marko, He will make your vehicle buying experience the best!!! Then don't count out the financing man Scott Clausing he will get u the best interest rates out there. Overall...when you leave there you will leave with a smile on your face, and you will be driving away in a vehicle that you will love!!! I love my 2013 Dodge Journey and I love Taylor Dodge!!! We've have talked to Ray Marko off and on for the past six months while we did our research into buying our first new car in 6 plus years. He has always been more than helpful and patient with us during this time. We looked at other competitors and always felt that Ray had the best qualities we've seen in a worldclass salesman. The last night we came in we were not looking to purchase "our" 2013 Dodge Durango at that time, but Ray was able to help us get our best deal possible. After the deal was completed we were introduced to Scott Clausing whom walked us through the finance process with ease. At the time of vehicle delivery Ray went over a few things with a promise from us to come in the next morning to go over a thorough "class" on our new Dodge. That morning we also had another question for Scott. We were very impressed and appreciated that he took the time out to go over those questions we had on the paper work we did the night before. Overall our experience with Taylor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has been a positive one and we would definitely purchase from Ray again.
