I noticed uneven wear on the front tires so I told the salesperson to take care of the front end issues and I'd buy the car. They called me and told me everything was good to go so I went in to finalize everything and noticed two new front tires (which I expected when I said "fix the front end"). I asked what ended up being the issue and the shop there told the salesperson that the previous owner drove on low tire pressure and that there was nothing wrong with the front end. After i drove it home, I had a bad feeling about what I was told. Turns out, the vehicle needs new struts, ball joints, rear shocks totaling about $1200 if I took to a shop. They just told me what I wanted to hear to get the car out the door, not giving a xxxx about whether I would ever come back or rant about it over the internet. Well here's my rant! DON'T TRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING More

James Winters Is AMAZING to work with!!! I had an accident, totaled my car and was looking for a used car. I contacted James because I had worked with him twice in the past. He got details o I had an accident, totaled my car and was looking for a used car. I contacted James because I had worked with him twice in the past. He got details of what I was looking for and went to work for me. He is not pushy or intrusive. If he found something I didn't care for, he took it to heart and went back on the search for something that I would like. He called me one day letting me know they had a 2012 Honda Accord to see if I wanted to come take a look at it. I went in and looked at it but with road conditions, I was leery of test-driving it. He completely understood and told me to just be in touch when roads cleared up if I was still interested. My son and I went for a ride and I loved it! James is super funny, relaxed and easy to work with. I never at any time felt pressured & felt I could discuss what I liked, didn't like, etc. with him. I made an offer & Bennett accepted it. When I went in to settle up the deal, I had nothing but good experience with both James and Brian (finance). They were both very nice and helpful. Anyone looking for a car --- GO SEE JAMES WINTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE MAKES BUYING A CAR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!! More

I now take the GMCs to City Chevrolet, the Subaru has had its last service at Bennett. I arrived with an appointment for service and was told it would be 2-3 hours before they could get to my vehicle. After speaking with the Service Manager, that issue was rectified and service on the vehicle began. The service writer was rude, abrupt, disorganized and seemingly angry at me because her supervisor forced her to do the right thing. Tire rotation, oil change and headlight replacement took 3 hours. They missed a burned out tail light on the vehicle inspection and spilled oil all over the engine and exhaust manifold, which visably smokes and smells while it burns off. The dealership infrastructure is old and crumbling, every other dealership in town has upgraded or built new structures EXCEPT Bennett Motors. Get it together Bennett, you don't deserve to sell GMC and Subaru and should stick to Hyundai. More
Unsatisfactory, unfair sales experience On May 11, 2014 I stopped by the Bennet Motors spring Mega Tent Sale event. Scratch off prizes, low money down and payments as low as $79 per month were being offered. They had a truck that interested me so I looked into the deal. They were offering a 2013 GMC SierraHD Denali it had $13,000 miles. I was offered a $1759 bonus coupon valid toward the purchase of ANY used vehicle during the event. I asked and they confirmed that they would offer a military discount if I showed my ID, which I did. When I got the offer, I could not see where the coupon and military discount were applied. Again I asked to see the breakout with each factor applied and I was told that it was built into the price that they showed. Since the day was almost over,I said I was leaving and was told the deal was good only for that Sunday, the last day of the sale. I didn’t want to lose the alleged deal, so I agreed to sign the large number of closing documents and was told to take a copy home and review the documents. We could then resolve any problems Monday morning. They had more paperwork to sign on Monday and again I requested to see the breakout. I was told he would talk to the Sales Manager and get it straightened out. A few days passed and I still was not provided the info I wanted. The Sales Manager told me what a great deal I was getting, but still no breakout of the deal. Finally, I went to the General Manager. Gave him the story which he checked out. His feedback was that his people did not do anything wrong and that the dealership made 103% of full retail on the deal. This he said was pretty good profit on a used 2013 vehicle, but not out of line. He never showed me how or where he got the figures to arrive at the 103% of retail. He never gave me a reason why I did not get credit for the coupon or the military discount. The selling price of the 2013 vehicle was $53,000 compared to a new 2014 at $46,750. source kelly blue book and NADA book. The vehicle is now listed for sale at taylors auto max with an asking price of $47465. Basically, I felt taken advantage of and felt treated very unprofessionally. I fully understand that I was the one who signed on the line. I tried to get a Customer Satisfaction Form to submit to no avail. After two requests, they sent me a form for Service Satisfaction with watermarks stating “Sample”. Further, I tried to go to the website to write a review and the site would not accept an input. I was unfortunate enough to have car trouble on Christmas Eve, so I felt lucky to find Bennett Motors open and willing to help get me on the road for the Holidays. After receiving assurance from the service Eve, so I felt lucky to find Bennett Motors open and willing to help get me on the road for the Holidays. After receiving assurance from the service team that my car would be on the road the same day and at a fair price...I spent the $ to have my car towed to the dealership. And then...my luck ran out. The final price increased by several hundred dollars and the repair took several days rather than hours. Upon expressing my frustration about both the new(much higher) price and the fact that Id be without a car for holiday travel...I was told to come get my car off the lot. Merry Christmas from Bennett Motors. My options were pretty limited by the time of day and the holiday and by the fact that Id already spent the $$ on a tow truck so Bennett Motors did complete the job (3 days later). I will not be back...for any reason. More
We went in and looked at a used vehicle. The first person we worked with was very nice. That afternoon we got someone else. We told them our price and they were willing to work with us. He looked a person we worked with was very nice. That afternoon we got someone else. We told them our price and they were willing to work with us. He looked at our trade and scolded us about it. It is a used vehicle, but four other dealerships stated it was in great condition for it's age and mileage and gave us a fair price. Bottom line we never got an answer why they wouldn't give us anything for our vehicle and we went somewhere else. More
I didn't end up buying a car here, and I would not recommend even stopping in unless you look like you are a rich suburbanite. I was treated terribly. The salsemen that I dealt with were insulting, recommend even stopping in unless you look like you are a rich suburbanite. I was treated terribly. The salsemen that I dealt with were insulting, and refused to let me drive a vehicle which I asked about, trying instead to distract me by showing me a car that I had just specifically told them I didn't want. They assumed that because I wasn't all button up suit and tie, that I couldn't afford the more expensive car which I asked about. They were wrong, and as a result lost any future sales from me. More

Then, she came back and said the truck I wanted was being written up by another salesperson!! SO!! I was first, wasn't I?? But, she wasn't being reasonable, in my opinion. I asked for the Sales Mgr., she said "I'm the OWNER'S DAUGHTER"! I tore up my check and walked out!! She & Daddy, ran out to my vehicle, begged me to give them another chance. I ended up with a DIFFERENT truck for the same price, and it had more options! THAT was good! But, didn't appreciate the stressful situation they put me in, know what I mean? More
