I recently set up a 40,000 mile service w/ State Inspection for Feb 24, 2020....I was advised the service would take approx 5 hours. I then requested a loaner since I had a meeting later that mornin Inspection for Feb 24, 2020....I was advised the service would take approx 5 hours. I then requested a loaner since I had a meeting later that morning and was advised since I did not purchase my vehicle from Mohegan Lake Volkswagen, I am not entitled to a Loaner...I told the Loaner person that since buying my VW Beetle, I have always had them as my dealer to service my car for every 5000 mile service...plus recalls...she said that did not matter...she said if you did not purchase from us..we can not accommodate you..I have since CANCELED my service appointment... More

Service does not go the extra mile to keep customers happy. Provided the service we asked for but nothing more. Took me 2 HOURS of waiting for a 20,000 service with no issues on the car. Compared to our dealer in Naples Florida these guys do nothing to keep your loyalty. Naples VW gives you a loaner car when you bring your car in for service free of charge and the car was returned unwashed and not vacuumed!!! Are you kidding me??? And they are rated the BEST dealership in NY, REALLY??? Give me a break! NY must have some pretty sucky VW dealerships if these guys are the best!!! Only recommended them because it's the only game in town... More

Piece of Junk brand new 2009 routan. I bought a Routan from Mohegan lake Volkswagan. I start to have problem after a month I even about an extended warranty for $1200. I start having I bought a Routan from Mohegan lake Volkswagan. I start to have problem after a month I even about an extended warranty for $1200. I start having a problem with Van after a month and half. Van roof start licking, Break and Router were done within year and half. I have change Battery 3 times within 6 years. They always charge arms and leg for service. Always come out with excuses that part or condition is not covered. The $ 1200 I paid for extended warranty no one knows at dealership what I that warranty covers. I drove that car only 50,000 mile in 6 years. Problem I am getting with this like my car have over 100,000 miles. Volks wagon doesn’t stand behind their warranties. I would highly recommend not to go this place unless you want to dump your money intentionally in Garbage More
