I went in there with a trade-in(2012 VW GTI); Steve was able to get me what I wanted for the trade(no-haggle). Allowed me to take the new car on an extensive test-drive to ensure it's the car for me. Steve was very patient with my car buying decision and answered all of my questions(I had many!). Steve was up-front about everything(No Surprises!), got me a great deal on my Jetta TDI with very little back-n-forth "negotiations", got me the promotional interest rate, and was never pushy. Pleasant experience I found the car I was interested in on the internet, and I sent an email to the internet contact person at Mohegan Lake. This part was frustrating bec I found the car I was interested in on the internet, and I sent an email to the internet contact person at Mohegan Lake. This part was frustrating because most of my emailed inquiries were not answered. When I called on the phone, things got better, and when I went in person to look at the car, the face-to-face experience was very good. I didn't feel pressured and I felt Stephen Wells was honest and not using high pressure sales tactics or spewing half-truths with me. I felt I got a good deal on the price, not a fantastic deal, but a good deal. I had wanted to test drive it on the Taconic Parkway which is less than 2 miles away to see how the car handled fast acceleration and high speeds, but I wasn't allowed. I was told I had to stay on a windy local road where I could go only 40 mph. That part was disappointing. The car, a 2008 VW Eos, though, is in pristine shape and comes with a 2-year certified warranty. It looks brand new and everything is clean and sparkling, and handles beautifully. The condition of the car couldn't have been better. It is hard to believe the car is 6 years old. Steve Wells went out of his way to make me comfortable and to make the deal stress free, smooth, and professional. My friend has bought 2 cars there, and I would buy from them again. I have always been wary about shady car salesmen, and I can say there is nothing shady about Mohegan Lake. It's an honest place to do business. All in all, I am very happy with the car, and very happy with my experience there. More
