He explained the differences in the cars, e.g. gas mileage, reliability, sports car versus an SUV, etc. The financial aspects such as how the loan payments are contingent on my down payment, trade in, lender's interest, the other fees involved (taxes, dealer fees, etc.). David Rivera was very professional, knowledgeable, supportive and patient. David was not condensing or rushed which unfortunately many salesmen are apt to be. David was a great asset in my VW purchase. I would use him and again and highly recommend him. More

Best experience of buying a car i have ever had I have been on the look-out for a car for over 5 months and was almost done bad by a lot of the crooks that are out there in this industry. But higher powers lend me a hand and i found the perfect car for sale at Mohegan Lake Volkswagen - a 2013 Beetle Turbo Fender. Called them up at lunchtime and spoke to Jill. She was extremely friendly and helpful and within 20 minutes i had set up credit application papers and she had submitted them in their system. 1 hour later i showed up at the nearest train station (10 miles away!) where i was picked up by her and David Rivera in the car i was interested in! Brilliant service. very nice touch! and the rest went just as smooth. David was extremely dedicated and very honest and i was given a really nice treatment in there. no fuss despite me being new in the country and having a foreign licence. Benjamin then handled my credit application which had already been approved by the time we arrived at their brand new facilities (nice btw!) and they even managed to squeeze the car through the delivery inspection and arrange plates. I literally had every single thing sorted and done within 2 hours of arriving on the train and i drove off in my amazing new car. I would highly highly recommend these guys! Dont even go near new york city dealers - it is not worth the fuss! take the train for an hour and the whole world changes! thank you guys! i will be back that is for sure. More

I walked in with confidence, expecting just go in for a look-see, even though I was unsure of exactly what car I wanted. So there I was in the middle of a dealership, seemingly hundreds of cars for me to try and sort through and narrow down when David asked me if there was anything he could do for me. From there he asked me what I was looking for in a car, what price, all of those generic sales questions that always lead nowhere. Except this time they didn't! To my amazement, David actually listened to what I wanted, not what he felt like pushing at the time. After he took note of what I was looking for, he showed me an awesome Jetta with pretty much everything I wanted, and well within my budget. I went against my teachings (and risked being subjected to my fathers disappointment in getting a car on the first day) and pulled my money together for a down payment on my very first brand new car. After the relative said the car was as advertised, David and I quickly came to a price and we put down a deposit. We ended up picking up the car in person for spring break.
