The experience is always the same: very good. The people throughout the sales process are kind, helpful, knowledgeable and more than fair with their pricing. They are always willing to go back again and "sharpen the pencil", so as to be able to make a deal that works for both buyer and seller. There also seems to be better than average retention of the people I've come to know. Maybe the more important feeling is one of being appreciated as a repeat customer, although I wasn't always that repeat customer, and my initial experience was equally favorable. But it is good to be known and recognized as important to the dealership. Obviously, car dealers don't always have the best reputation, but this group , I'm happy to say, clearly breaks that stereotype. Just this week, doing yet another lease on yet another Jetta, i was happy to have yet another very favorable result. If you're ever not certain as to what your next lease or purchase should be (used OR new), you would do well to give them a try. I'm sure I'm partial after all these years, but I probably wouldn't go anywhere else due to the simple fact that I love the reliable products and really have come to appreciate the personnel there from the service through the sales people, the sales managers all the way up to the owner, who is part of that welcoming experience. At both dealerships, I felt as though I was just another customer buying another car. I decided to try another vehicle and that being the Volkswagen Jetta. I stopped into Mohegan Lake Volkswagen and after some small, no pressure talk with David Slavin, I quickly became more interested in the Jetta. Davids low pressure approach allowed me to feel extremely relaxed and allowed me to enjoy learning about what the Jetta had to offer. I was sold on the Jetta before the test drive.
