Unfortunately the part was not in stock and needed to be ordered. He greeted me on Friday and again on Saturday morning to loan a car to me for a few days. Tire Mounting and Alloy Rim Repair After striking a pot hole and slicing a side wall I came back to Tasca to have a new tire mounted. They were very courteous and not in the least put o After striking a pot hole and slicing a side wall I came back to Tasca to have a new tire mounted. They were very courteous and not in the least put out that I had bought the performance tire from a third party (Tire Rack) and only required them to mount and balance it. Unfortunately for me after mounting the new tire it was discovered that the rim was warped by the impact. I thought all was lost for that rim and now I would have to buy a new rim as well. However, the technicians who caught the problem had a solution of a local expert in alloy rim repair that was 30 % the cost of a new rim, saving me several hundred dollars. They handled the whole thing from sending it out and then final balancing. The ride home was superb with no hint of vibration. Thank you More
