Tire Disaster HORRIBLE SERVICE! I have a 2018 Kia stinger (leased). I actually brought my car in for service last Thursday the 31st for an oil change and rotation o HORRIBLE SERVICE! I have a 2018 Kia stinger (leased). I actually brought my car in for service last Thursday the 31st for an oil change and rotation of my tires. I also mentioned to the service department when I dropped off the car to please look at my tires because my tire pressure light came on that morning probably because it was very cold that day, but still check. I got the car back with the tire pressure light still on, was told if I drive around the light should come off. I literally drove home that night, back to work the next day being Friday and almost home, the tire pressure light was still ON. I tried calling Kia Friday afternoon about the light still being on but of course THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE. However on my way home that Friday night I hit a very big pot hole that I had to pull over and call 24 hour road side assistant to come and switch my actual tire with a donut(spare tire). Saturday morning I went to Kia and I was two hours late for work so I can stay with my car. They took the tire out the trunk and stated that the tire had a slash in it. They never looked at the rim, to inspect it literally nothing, just the tire. So I said this is great my rim didn’t get messed up and that they had to order the tire and it will be in on Monday because they didn’t have the tire in stock. I was very understanding so I went home again with the donut on my car until Monday. Drop the car off Monday morning at 9am, I didn’t receive not one phone call about my car all day. I decided to call at 5pm and of course they gave me unlimited excuses. So come to find out my rim was damaged (that they never even looked at), they tried calling their rim repair guy to come in to fix the rim, he didn’t have any availability Monday to come in to see if the rim could be fixed that day or they needed to order me a whole new rim. At this point it’s 5 pm and my car was in their care for almost 8 hours and they didn’t do a SINGLE thing. I went to go pick up my car after work and I received my key from the front desk and at this point I’m upset. I got in my car and I immediately smelled a cigarette scent and my window was slightly cracked (very fishy). So I went back inside and asked to speak to the manager. I first spoke to Jules who the services manager and I stated “my car smells like cigarettes” and he said “I don’t think anyone here smokes.” I then said, “well I don’t and I didn’t give you my car like that, however since we’re on the topic what happen today”. All excuses from there, they supposedly tried calling me twice on a phone number that is no longer my number and every time I take my car in I give them my updated phone number and tell them to fix it. At this point I was beyond frustrated because this was 3 days with a donut on my car and I felt unsafe in my own car. I demanded to speak with a manager, that being James who was currently with a customer at the time. I simply told the front desk I will wait because I know James and he was the person who I signed my lease with. The service manager thought it was a good idea to try to explain to me again and again their “xxxx ups”. By this time I had to restate that I don’t care about the rim nor the tire at this point, what I care about is my safety and the fact that I have to drive another day with this donut isn’t ideal nor safe. To make a very long story short I spoke to James and the owner of the dealership now, Nick and they told me given them until Tuesday noon to figure out what they were going to do about the situation. Today’s noon came and went, I didn’t get a phone call. So I went over to Kia on my lunch break and they supposably had the guy come fix the rim overnight. They replaced my rim and tire right then and there which I’m happy they did. I’m just very upset that it took a lack of communication and careless of my safety. This isn’t the first time Kia has done something like this to me when I dropped my car off for services, but this time I am for sure making a bigger deal. I do strongly feel that because I am a women in my 20s they can take advantage of me but again they are wrong. This is not my first car and it definitely WONT be my last. Plus I am very educated with a lawyer. The only person I will deal with going forwarded if i choice to bring my car to “North Kia” or “Kia White Plains”; whatever you guys want to call yourself is a young man name Tommy in service. He’s a very nice gentlemen and was the only one understanding my frustration in all this mess. More
Amazing Service! Amazing service experience....This is my second Kia, both leased from Yonkers Kia. After mediocre buying experience and horrible service experience to Amazing service experience....This is my second Kia, both leased from Yonkers Kia. After mediocre buying experience and horrible service experience to fix issues with new vehicle, gave White Plains Kia a shot for 6-month/3,000 mile service....Appointment scheduling was a piece of cake, check-in was easy and pleasant, waiting area was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. Approx. 90 minutes for service was amazing! Will definitely bring back in the future! More

Left in on Tuesday, on Friday I called - service Mgr. Devon told me on phone car is ready , recall done, seat fixed. I went in on Saturday at 12.30 - service area open but manager was out to lunch, after some wait they brought car out. Manager still not back and so we drove home. When we got home we checked and saw that seat had NOT been fixed. I called the Mgr. Devon on phone and after checking his files, now tells me that the seat was not fixed after all as they needed to order a part. My reponse was "i drove from 20 munites away because you told me it was , xed yesterday:". His response "well that's what the mechanic told me, do you want to bring it back?" I declined - I will now look for a more professional and better orgaonized KIA dealer. More

Honest, straightforward, customer oriented experience. Early this year, I had an horrific experience with Yonkers Kia over a lengthy repair - a repair that, as it turns out, they never did. This was exacerbated by Corporate Kia - while I give them credit for initiating contact with me after my Twitter complaint, they further wasted my time after extending no type of compensation for my poor treatment. At this point - in spite of being otherwise quite pleased with my Soul purchase - I'd made a mental note to never buy another Kia again. And was willing to offer to anyone and everyone within earshot why. Until I later brought my Soul for maintenance service to Mr. Julio Zallo of White Plains Kia. After quickly attending to my auto, I was surprised to discover that he had the fortitude to acknowledge to me that Yonkers Kia -vas I'd always suspected - had actually never corrected the recall related issue that led me to bring it to them in the first place. Not even after they had my car 5 hours beyond the 1 hour time frame they'd indicated to me it would take to perform the repair. Frankly, if it were not for Mr Zallo, I never would have found out - unless it would have been the hard way (car accident, etc). I was impressed by Mr. Zallo's strength of character - he could have easily simply looked the other way and only just serviced the car as I'd requested. At the time I'd told him nothing about the earlier incident; he had simply volunteered to me that his vehicle inspection was inconsistent with it's recorded service history. He went above and beyond the call of duty - he was unaware of my presence when I'd overheard him on the phone informing someone that he will be perform my repair free; at a loss to himself, since my service records had (falsely) indicated that it had already been done. I requested him to inform me if this ultimately were the case to let me know, so I could throw an absolute fit on his behalf. It all panned out in the end, for all involved. I've been going to White Plains Kia for servicing ever since, and - as long as Mr, Julio Zallo is running the show there - will never get my car serviced anywhere else again. More

Julio went to NJ to pick up a part for my car so it would be done the next day instead of 4 days. Julio communicated with me frequently to keep me updated. I have exclusively gone to a local mechanic because I always find that Service at the dealer is either too difficult to schedule an appointment with and/or they look to force unnecessary work on you. Julio's honesty has changed my mind about dealership service departments. Thanks Julio. More
