While I was treated very well when purchasing my car, when I was in the service department, I was not treated as such. I came in for my first oil change and tire rotation and was told it would be free f when I was in the service department, I was not treated as such. I came in for my first oil change and tire rotation and was told it would be free for the first visit. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly and sent into the service department. When the service member ran my information, he stated my service would not be free and that I had already had my first visit. I explained to him that I had not; when I purchased my car, it was the "runner" car used by the dealership for customers. It was bought with over 2,000 miles on it. He went on to tell me that "you need to change your oil at least every 5,000 miles and this is overdue. It will not be free. It will be $59.99." I explained that no one told me about the limit on the miles; only that the first oil change was free. I am not sure how I would have known that there was a limit on how long the offer was good for. He ended up talking to the service manager and they agreed to complete the service, but I was not made to feel welcome at all. More
