I started looking at GMC Terrains online and made some inquiries on April 29th. I had been to 2 dealers here in SW Florida the first week of May (one from the Costco Auto Program), but the deals they offe inquiries on April 29th. I had been to 2 dealers here in SW Florida the first week of May (one from the Costco Auto Program), but the deals they offered weren’t good enough to make me happy. I emailed and later spoke with Ms. Johnson at Palm Auto Mall in Punta Gorda and we reached an agreement. The day I was to take off work early and drive up to get the vehicle, I was informed by a representative at my Credit Union that the loan was going to be over 110% of the value of the vehicle. She said that because of that fact, they would only finance it for 60 months instead of 72 and my payment would be $120 more than on the vehicle I was trading in. I told her that did not sound like what I had agreed to and asked her to fax me what she had received from the sales manager, Todd Mangrum. I brought the fax home and compared it to the figures I had written down when I’d spoken with them. There were numerous fees on the document they sent my credit union that had not been mentioned when we came to an agreement, as well as more sales tax and an overcharge for the transfer of the registration and tags. At that time I emailed them and told them I was not coming to pick up the Terrain unless they emailed the figures on the spreadsheet I attached that I had agreed to. A few minutes later, I received a nasty email from the sales manager, Todd Mangrum, which I replied to. The next morning, I received another email from Mr. Mangrum, titled, “Re: Will You Give Us Another Opportunity?” which I believed to be an automated email, but I answered it. His next email was cordial, but I had no intention of dealing with anyone that had misrepresented the figures and actually lied to me telling me that Michelin tires were not available on the Terrain I wanted. I called the Costco Auto Program and finally got their representative to give me the name and number of another dealer in FL. which I contacted by email. Within a few minutes, I’d received 3 responses. The first was Mr. Scott MacCallum. Even though he was not at the dealership, but out on personal business, he responded to my emails immediately. When I asked which location he was at so I could call him, he sent me his cellular number. I gave him a very brief synopsis of the scenario above and he asked me to send him the VIN number on my trade and said he would call me the next morning as soon as he’d talked to the used car manager. The next morning, he called as promised and we reached an agreement. I was a bit skeptical and hesitant to drive over 300 miles, but had felt a great rapport with Scott McCallum from the 1st time I spoke with him the previous evening. I had read all the reviews from several websites and decided the 2 negative ones were from unreasonable or illiterate people and decided to do it. I asked him to fax the purchase order to my credit union in IL. before they closed in 35 minutes and told him I’d drive up as soon as I could. I hoped to leave about noon, but didn’t actually get started until 1:30. He knew I was pressed for time and called me shortly after I started for some information. When I arrived at Dick Norris, Mr. MacCallum came walking out to meet me before I’d even got the trade in parked. He went to get my new Terrain, which he’d asked them to keep in “detail” because of the storm and brought it to me. The used car manager came out to look at my trade and we moved my belongings from the trade to my new Terrain. Mr. MacCallum showed me how to operate the many features of my new Terrain quickly, then we went inside to look over the documents. Everything was EXACTLY as represented when we’d spoken on the telephone. We went in to see the finance manager, Mr. David Mulder. He had been informed I was going to be in a hurry, had been delayed by the storm, and did the paperwork in record time. I’m guessing 10 minutes as I didn’t actually time it. I then went back to see Scott MacCallum, traded the rest of the keys and was almost off to the party. I plugged my iPhone in and was getting an error message. Mr. MacCallum didn’t know what the problem was, so went to get someone that would. We determined there was absolutely nothing wrong other than something in my iPhone configuration was causing it. We discovered it was my Bluetooth headset, turned it off, and everything was great. Mr. MacCallum then gave me better directions for returning by reversing the way I’d gotten there and I made it back to Fisherman’s Village for my friends’ show during the 1st set in spite of the weather. This was by far the absolute best and most exemplary experience I’ve ever had with automobile dealer representatives. It’s been a few days and Mr. MacCallum is still going out of his way to be sure I’m completely satisfied. I definitely am and the next time I want to purchase a vehicle will not waste any time, I’ll call him and drive up there. More

Istarted doing business with, Stone Buick, when they were on Cleveland, St. Clearwater, FL. I purchased from Charlie Cole @ 1986 Buick, Riviera, white with sun roof. Had some problems with the master modual, bad proms, but that problem was solved, by the service manager. Then I went back to Stone Buick @ purchased an, 1989 Buick Riv. with sun roof & Landow roof, it also was maxed out. Then the dealership changed to, dick Norris. Were i took my 89 Riv in for mantaninence issues, and had a run in with the service writer/manager, and I left with an attitude, because, Jim Emery, New car manager, would not here my issue with the service writer, or even give me the right time of day. So I went to, Scoot Buick an Purchased a 1999 Buick Riv, white with sun roof.Then I went back to Scott Buick and traded inmy 1999 Buick Riv. 4 a Laucearn 2006, white/gold, r door, NO sun roof. The very next day, GM managment arrived @ Scott Buick an pulled there franchize, and CLOSED the doors. He was honest, personable and knowledgeable - as were the other folks that I met when I purchased my Jetta that same day. I have purchased three Buicks from the Dick Norris dealership, and I have been more than satisfied with the entire operation. After Dan King sold me my first Buick at this dealership, he became my sa dealership, and I have been more than satisfied with the entire operation. Dan is the consummate professional: extremely knowledgeable about the product, concerned about satisfying the customer before and after the sale, and continuously follows up with the customer. Lenny Demarco is cut from the same cloth as Dan. He is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. In addition, Mr. Dick Norris is always available to customers. He on hand every day and makes a point of greeting and speaking with customers. To make a long story short, this is an outstanding dealership, and the finest That I have ever dealt with. When my wife and I decided which vehicle we wanted we went to several dealerships and found the exact model and features we wanted. We test drove the vehicle and decided the Terrain was the vehicle for us. I sent an e-mail to all the local dealers told them exactly what we wanted(color-model-features)if they could provide this exact request contact us by e-mail ONLY no phone calls and give us your best price. The very next morning at 7:55 A.M. the 1st call comes in from a dealership. She had no idea what color or model we were looking for totally unprepared and obviously could not follow a simple request. Out of 5 dealers this happened 4 times. Dominick at Dick Norris was the only person that listened and followed our simple request. He sent an e-mail stating that he had everything we requested in stock except the color but he could order it if necessary. He invited us to come in and look at what he had in stock and gave us a good price on that vehicle. 2 days later we received a card in the mail from Dominick inviting us to come in, we did and purchased the 2011 Terrain that he had in stock and it had exactly what we asked for and my wife loved the color. Where do I start? My Husband and I spent two days in Clearwater shopping for used cars. Needless to say, we spoke to quite a few salesmen. We were thrilled to find him after two days of dealership disapointments from all around Clearwater. Sean was there to greet us with a smile and the rest just fell into place. My husband and I decided that we wanted to trade up and get into a larger vehicle. We had a limited amount of cash to put with the trade, as financing was not an option for us. Sean showed us a beautiful 2004 Buick Rendezvous that blew us away! Our immediate thought was that there was no way we were going to get into this beautiful vehicle, but we did! Dick Norris offered us top dollar for our trade, which was not the case anywhere else in Clearwater, and we were happy to do buisness with them! The entire staff at Dick Norris were very friendly and made us feel very much at home and comfortable. We cannot say enouph about our experience. It was fantastic! After literally walking away from the table at Autoway and Crowne because they were not willing to work the numbers, Dick Norris Buick GMC and Sean Hamza did what it took to make us a great deal and we are thrilled, to say the least! The kids and I are enjoying our "new" ride! I would highly recomend this fantastic dealership and Sean to anyone. So, if you decide to pay them a visit, get ready for a very rewarding experience! Our salesperson was Sean Hamza, he was very honest, professional and courteous, described the truck very accurately, no surprises. Sean even picked us up at the airport and bought our lunch on the way to the dealership!! Overall, the price, quality and appearance of the truck, and customer serivce at the dealership was excellent.
