By far, the easiest and most enjoyable car purchase I've had to date! I contacted Mohegan Lake Motors via the Audi CPO site for a 2008 Audi A4 Avant w/manual transmission - this is a very difficult car had to date! I contacted Mohegan Lake Motors via the Audi CPO site for a 2008 Audi A4 Avant w/manual transmission - this is a very difficult car to find - when I called, they actually had two manual Avants, but one was sold before I called. I was not able to see a picture of the actual vehicle because it was in the process of being transported, but that did not stop me from putting a deposit to hold the car until I could look at it. If I may make a side note here, I was initially hesitant to contact Mohegan Lake Motors because the descriptive entry (written in all caps) was just plain bizarre and had little to do with the car. My desire to see this hard to find car overrode my hesitance to contact them, and I'm glad I did! Once I got to the dealership, I found a very small property bursting at the seams with new and used cars. There was barely room to park, but as luck would have it my wife and I parked near my soon-to-be car. I admit that I was thrilled to see my name on the car! It may be a small thing, but I regard this little detail as noteworthy and telling of a great customer service experience. Michael showed me the car - it had just arrived from transport and thus had not been cleaned (not that it was particularly dirty to begin with), but had been looked over by the mechanic. but we took it for a test drive. This Audi was pretty much what I expected as I have previously owned Volkswagens - I sought a familiar feel and control layout. I was pleased with the car and we drove back to the dealership to get things started. Mohegan Lake Motors is extremely well staffed. I have never seen so many salespeople in such a small dealership. Nor have I seen such an engaged staff - the whole place bustled with activity. All I had to do was to say that I wanted the car! The paperwork went quickly and then the best part: it could be delivered to my home in NJ over 100 mi away, free of charge! This sort of convenience just blew me away! If this was representative of the Audi experience, then I have found a very distinct contrast to my previous VW experiences. In purchasing this car, I felt like my business was appreciated and that I was taken seriously. Four days later, Michael personally drove my new car to my house. Again, this level of customer service is unique to any car or motorcycle purchase I have made to date. As promised at the dealership, the Avant received it’s CPO inspection as well as four new tires and new floormats. The remainder of the paperwork was completed on the dining room table in even less time than it took to get insurance and finance started! Needless to say, I had a fantastic experience at Mohegan Lake Audi. Thanks to Michael, I would not hesitate to travel to Mohegan Lake NY again for my next purchase nor will I hesitate to recommend them to my friends looking for a special car! More
