DO NOT GO TO TARR CHEVROLET! ! THEY CHEATED US ON NOT 1 Yukon Denalis BUT 2!! THEY PUT THE WRONG TRANSMISSION FLUID IN MY DENALI, APOLOGIZED AND DRAINED IT FOR FREE THEN LIED ABOU ! THEY SOLD US OUR FAMILY VEHICLE FOR $28K (YUKON DENALI) WITH BALD TIRES, NO HEAD LIGHTS, ONSTAR (DOESN'T WORK) , BLUETOOTH (DOESN'T WORK), DVD & TV (DOESN'T WORK), SENSORS (DOESN'T WORK), A/C & HEAT IN REAR (COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED WITHOUT DISCLOSING ANY OF THIS). EVERYTHING WE WANTED IN A FAMILY VEHICLE THIS HAD BUT THEY FORGOT TO TELL US ABSOLUTELY NONE OF IT WORKS. THESE ITEMS ARE IMPARATIVE WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS, THE PURCHASE HAD PURPOSE AND THEY PLANNED IT VERY WELL TO KEEP US FROM KNOWING. VERY SLICK. THEY DID THE EXACT SAME TACTICS WITH THE OTHER VEHICLE I BOUGHT. SERVICE & BODY SHOP IS THE WORST!! THEY DON'T FIX ANYTHING AND NOTHING HITS WARRANTY. WHEN WE FINALLY DID GET WARRANTY TO REPLACE THE BACKEND OF THE "FAMILY DENALI" THEY TRIED TO HIT ME FOR ADDITIONAL HOURS THEY SAID WARRANTY WOULDN'T PICK UP. I WAS LIKE, "NICE TRY GUY".... BODY SHOP RUINED MY ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS BY FAILING TO INSTALL THE ROOF RACKS ON CORRECTLY SO WATER HAS BEEN GETTING INSIDE FOR YEARS WITH NO SOLUTIONS. IM NOT A KAREN, NOR IS THIS VENGEFUL. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT TARR CHEVROLET IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, TRUST ME. I JUST DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO GO THROUGH WHAT WE HAVE. THEY HAVE EMBARRASSED ME, LIED TO ME, LACKS INTEGRITY & TRUTH, LIED TO ME SO MUCH MORE, TRUE CROOKS AND MORE.. I WILL AGREE TO TAKE THIS REVIEW DOWN IF MR. SHAFFER (OWNER) AND RODNEY FIELDS (ATTORNEY) KEEPS THEIR WORD LIKE THEY HAVE REFUSED YET AGAIN TO COME THROUGH IN PROMISES/AGREEMENTS MADE. LIKE THE PICTURE YOU'LL SEE. THEY HAVE YET TO REIMBURSE ME FOR MY MAINTENANCE PLAN. SO I'M PAYING DOUBLE FOR OIL CHANGES ECT. I HAVE BEGGED THESE FOLKS TO JUST MAKE THINGS RIGHT. FIX WHAT YOU BROKE AND KEEP YOUR WORD. IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH SOLID FOLKS GO TO GMC/KIA IN MORRISTOWN. THEY HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLE SO FAR. NOW IT'S TIME FOR YOU GUYS TO FEEL FOOLISH AFTER A YEAR AND A HALF OF DEALING WITH YOUR LIES, MANIPULATIONS AND LACK OF GOOD INTENTIONS. REIMBURSEME THE MAINTENANCE PACKAGE FOR BOTH OF MY VEHICLES TARR. JUST MAKE IT RIGHT. THAT'S ALL I'VE EVER ASKED. I'VE MOVED ON FROM EVERYTHING ELSE BECAUSE I HAVE A GREAT SUPPORT TEAM AROUND ME THAT SEEN THE ANXIETY AND STRESS YOU CAUSED. THE LAST TIME I PICKED MY VEHICLE UP AFTER YOU GUYS HAD IT FOR OVER A MONTH AND YOU MADE AN ABSOLUTE FOOL OUT OF ME, FOR NOTHING. BECAUSE THE "NEW GUY" DIDN'T KNOW... IT WAS SO OBVIOUS WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT AND I DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO EVER FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT A BUSINESS YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO TRUST. More

By pissed off from Jefferson City, TN walk or ride a bike before buying a car from Tarr they will sell you a vehicle for double the blue book value, they will put cars on the lot that need repairs, they bike before buying a car from Tarr they will sell you a vehicle for double the blue book value, they will put cars on the lot that need repairs, they will send you an offer to buy your car back at its actual value, in my case two months after I owned it and 10,000 less than what I paid for it and will laugh and say we don't control what gets sent out( smells like B.S. to me), additionally you will get emails with scheduled maintenance requirements and a price for the service. Guess what, the price that is quoted is not the actual price of the service, the actual price is close to 3 times what was quoted and you will get the same answer as previous, " we don't control what gets sent out" so what do they control? the power to shaft hard working Americans, oh and buy the way GM DOESNT CARE EITHER! I am beyond pissed I did not deploy to the Middle East 4 times so that I could get screwed by my "fellow Americans". I do not think it to much to ask that a person receive a fair deal on a safe vehicle to transport my family in. vehicles are put on the lot n disrepair and in unsafe condition, roughly after a month to month and a half I went for my first oil change and was told I need brakes and rotors all the way around and a battery, which tells me it was put on the lot needing brakes and a battery! beyond infuriated. Tarr prioritizes filling there pockets before safety. I highly recommend not buying any used cars from Tarr or doing buisness with them period, all they care about is filling their pockets over the safety of families and the vehicles they sell. salesman did not pressure and was pleasant to work with, service dept. respectful. More

They sold me a 2002 Chevy S10 pickup on Friday and it left me on the side of Hwy 160 on Saturday! Didn’t run for 48 hours before throwing a rod! I took it and had the oil changed first thing because they left me on the side of Hwy 160 on Saturday! Didn’t run for 48 hours before throwing a rod! I took it and had the oil changed first thing because they told me if they run it through their service department it would cost me another $600.00. Sorry I paid them almost $3,000 for the truck and didn’t get to drive it 2 days. Of course I called them and was told you bought it “as is” which is right but you would think they would stand behind any vehicle they sell for at least one week or 100 miles?????? Guess not. The sad part is I bet I’m not the only one who has been cheated like this. Needless to say I won’t be doing any more business with such a dealership. More
