I had contacted multiple dealerships trying to get a specific price for a 2010 Honda Fit Sport AT. Darius Carson at Hondaland was the only contact who was able to come even close to my price. Once the p specific price for a 2010 Honda Fit Sport AT. Darius Carson at Hondaland was the only contact who was able to come even close to my price. Once the price was agreed upon, my husband and I came to Hondaland, did a very nice test drive with Darius, and made the deal! I think practically everyone in the dealership stopped by to say hello and thank us for our business! The only waiting we did was while waiting for the ppwk to be completed, financing to be finalized and the car to be detailed. We didn't mind - we were getting a great deal on a great car! And 2.9% financing! Skip in the financing dept. was very kind and patient as we asked over and over again what was included with the Road Hazard warranty - we got this because I have a bad track record with tires! We didn't feel pressure to over-buy warranties which was nice. All-in-all we left feeling VERY happy! Since our purchase, Darius has followed up and been very helpful with the few questions I have had. I would definitely recommend Hondaland - ask for DARIUS!! He was super nice and refreshingly honest. :-) ~Ashley B. More
As a resident of New Jersey, I recently planned a trip to Florida to assist my daughter with an end-of-lease return of her 2007 CR-V and selection of a new CR-V, having negotiated her previous lease from a Florida to assist my daughter with an end-of-lease return of her 2007 CR-V and selection of a new CR-V, having negotiated her previous lease from a New Jersey dealership prior to her move to Florida. I went online to locate dealers and get competitive quotes in order to determine which dealership I thought would provide the best car-buying experience. I received multiple quotes, but Joshua Smith responded immediately and offered a better price than competitors in the area. Moreover, his courteous and professional manner caused me to feel comfortable dealing with him. Although there were dealerships closer to my daughter's home in Riverview, FL, their correspondence with me was less than impressive and their prices higher, so I began dealing with Josh via e-mail and telephone prior to my trip. He quoted me a fair price, but agreed to do his best to meet the price point my daughter was aiming for. I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive prior to meeting with Josh, since our entire negotiation had been via long distance, but when my daughter and I met with him, we were impressed by his personable manner and customer-oriented approach and most importantly, his honesty in providing the vehicle he promised, while meeting our price. The whole transaction could not have gone more smoothly and everyone we dealt with was pleasant and courteous. This is the fifth vehicle that my family has leased from Honda, and based on this experience, I highly recommend Tampa Honda Land. More
Will never set foot in this dealership again. Worst customer service. I should have gone out of my way and bought a car from my previous dealer, but was under pressure to buy a vehicle out of necessit customer service. I went to Tampa Honda Land to buy my 2nd Accord after my first one was bought there in 1996. Felix Valero (the salesman) was very courteous and professional. He took the time to let me pick out and test dri first one was bought there in 1996. Felix Valero (the salesman) was very courteous and professional. He took the time to let me pick out and test drive the car that I want. After test driving a few cars, I finally picked out one but upon delivery, it was found that there were 2 deep scratches on the front bumper, so I had to find another one. When the car was finally detailed and ready to be inspected, it was about 5:30 P.M. in the late afternoon; it was dark. Felix and I inspected the body for any visible damages and found none. However, we never had time (or perhaps forgot) to inspect the windshield and rear window for any scratches or damages. Three days after I took delivery, I found a scratch about 3 inches long on the front windshield, right in the driver's line of sight. The car had only 28 miles on the odometer when I took it back to show it to John Leaver (Sales Manager). He had a service advisor take a look and said would have a windshield repairman to take a look. After talking to the windshield repairman, I called John back and asked who would be paying for the cost to buff out the scratch (and to replace the windshield if it couldn't be buffed out). To my disappointment, John denied the fact that the scratch was there in the first place and would not offer any help to remedy the problem. I called American Honda to file a complain and after the case manager (from Honda) called and talked to John, she said that John told her the car had 800 miles when I showed the scratch to him. I have not driven the car in the past few days and it now has 146 miles on the odometer. The fact that John had misrepresented the truth to the Honda rep and avoided all responsibilities for the damage after the purchase showed that they do not care about their customers after the purchase was made. I called and left 2 voice messages with Bob Barnett but no one has returned my call. I realize that I would have to live with this scratch or pay out of pocket to fix replace the windshield but this would be the last car I would buy from Tampa Honda Land and I would make sure my relatives, co-workers, staff, and friends take their business somewhere else where they deserve better care. Avoid Tampa Honda Land at all costs. More

We live about 80 miles away from there now, but we bought our first Honda from there and were willing to go back because the salesman there was so kind to us and took such good care of us the first time, in 2005. (John Morelli) Jason, who took care of the paperwork, was so professional and over-and-above that, he was reassuring as he sped through all the forms and documents that had to be signed before we could get our keys. He helped us decide on the extra warranties to get without being pushy and seemed genuinely interested in making the experience a pleasant one. More
My wife and I had a great experience at Tampa Hondaland. They provided excellent service, did everything they said they would do and put us in the car we wanted (Honda Pilot, 4WD w/RES). I dealt with Earl Kober and his manager Majid Raffoul to purchase 1 2009 Accord LX. I had shopped online with other Honda dealers in the Tampa Bay area, but Tampa Hondaland offered the best price via email purchase 1 2009 Accord LX. I had shopped online with other Honda dealers in the Tampa Bay area, but Tampa Hondaland offered the best price via email, and they had the color I wanted in stock. However, when I got there, Earl didn't honor his email price with my unseen trade-in; his boss tried to dismiss it as if it never was written. In the end, I came away with a fair price, although it took alot of negotiation. There was no hard-sell, just good natured "haggling" to get a win-win. Chris in Finance was very kind as we finalized the payment paperwork. When I refused to take any extended warranty add-ons, Majid came in to try and push that, to no avail. Overall, everyone was friendly and low-key. Like any car buying, just be armed with information before you go to Tampa Hondaland or any other car dealer. I would buy from Tampa Hondaland again. More

BEWARE. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. I did a mistake to buy BEWARE. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. I did a mistake to buy car from Tampa Hondaland. FINANCING WITH THEM WAS BIGGEST MISTAKE. Funny thing is, before BEWARE. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. I did a mistake to buy car from Tampa Hondaland. FINANCING WITH THEM WAS BIGGEST MISTAKE. Funny thing is, before finalizing the car, salesperson will tell you, it is the best, reliable car and I don't have to worry about anything. Once you said YES to buy the car, right after 15 minutes the 'Business Manager' will try to sell you optional (expensive) car care warranties and will give you examples of all the things that can go wrong even in a new car. I agreed to take an optional 'Car Care' warranty, ONLY because it can be canceled anytime on customer's wish, and there will be 100% refund of warranty price. (if canceled within 30 days). After buying car on Jan 3rd, 2008, within a week after talking to friends and colleagues I decided to cancel 'Car Care' warranty (cost 2400$), and called 'Bryan Henry', my business manager at Tampa Hondaland. I had to call three times to get hold of him. (He never returned my voice msgs). After taking appointment with Bryan Henry, I went to Dealership within 2 weeks of buying car to cancel 'Car Care' warranty, and he showed up after full 45 minutes. I completed application and gave it to him, for cancellation of 'Car Care' warranty. That day (mid of January 08), he said 2400$ will be credited to my auto loan account 'soon'. And after complete SIX WEEKS, there is no credit in my loan account. In last 4 weeks, I called this guy 'Bryan Henry' more than 6 times and left three voice messages. He never called me back. Then I requested the phone operator to transfer my call to anyone who can help me. She gave my call to another 'Business Manager' named Paul, he heard my story , took my phone number and assured someone will call me soon. No call Yet, even after 4 days!! This is too much. I am paying interest on those extra 2400$, which should be credited in my loan account SIX WEEKS back. I am totally pissed off with them, and I may go to court now.! thanks for reading. More
