Recently in a car accident and my vehicle was totaled. Was not in the market for a car and was not excited about the venture. I arrived at the dealership and instantly felt comfortable. Made my contact over the internet, and John was very prompt in meeting me. He was very patient and helpful in regards to meeting all of my requests, and dealing with some of my uncertainty since I was vascillating between new and used. A good rating was given for price because I was specific about where my car payment needed to be, and felt I was being pushed a bit beyond my threshold, imagine that is the idea in your business, but it is frustrating to have to repeat yourself. If you say a price and your are pushed it becomes frustrating and intimidating. A little quid pro quo you might say. Feel all of the add ons should be mentioned in the initial price becasue you walk away paying 3-4 thousand over the sticker and you feel a little railroaded. I realize I was fully present in the decision making process and lack of knowledge is a dangerous thing for a consumer. I own that. Otherwise the experience was pleasant and I am a proud Honda owner converted over from Saturn. Thank you! More

I had a nice experience. Gerald was not pushy at all which we appreciated. He worked on finding the exact car we wanted with exterior color and interior color. When I began my search for a new automobile, I went on Edmunds.Com and selected an Honda Accord and requested quotes from dealerships in my area. We received many emails and phone calls from dealers but Tampa Hondaland called consistantly and really worked for our business. I had been contacted by Paul Friedman via telephone and we discussed what I was looking for. We had been searching a few dealerships in the area at the time of our conversation. Next, I received a phone call from the Sales Manager of Hondaland who asks us to stop in and see them and told us of some great deals. We arrived at Hondaland and Paul was there and ready to assist. Before we went to Hondaland, we had experienced some pretty odd salesman of questionable character at other local dealerships and were pleased when Paul was as polite and helpful as he was. After arriving at Hondaland, we told Paul what we were looking for and he showed us the inventory and options. We reviewed the large inventory and took a test drive, which helped us make our decision on an Accord EX. We ran into a speed bump when our trade-in vehicle had history of unibody repair, which did not show up on carfax when we purchased it a few years back. Now we were not sure if we could afford the Accord EX due to our trade in not being valued at what we had thought it was. Paul worked with the Sales Manager and others to make our deal work and his determination to see us drive off in that Accord later on that evening was unforgettable. When we purchased the Accord and were getting ready to leave, Paul walked us out and showed us all the details and gadgets on the steering wheel and dash. He literally watched us drive out of the parking lot and I felt like we were in a commercial. All in all, our experience was fantastic. Paul worked very hard and never pressured us into any deals. Surprisingly, we did not even have to negotiate, and the professionalism and dedication the employees displayed was great. More

I got a good deal with my trade but had to work pretty hard to get it done. The USAA price for the new car was great! The internet sales person, Josh Smith, was fantastic. He didn't steer us towards the more expensive one (which we chose anyway). It was our decision. A great experience. We didn't spend as much time with Max and Skip, but our experience with them was smooth, easygoing and very professional. On a lighter note -- too much paperwork. We need our trees. When it's time to buy another car, Tampa Hondaland will be our first stop. More
I visited three Honda Dealers(Homosassa,Ocala and Tampa). Rose at Homosassa Honda was very helpful and not agressive but the daelership could not match the price of Hondaland in Tampa. The Ocala dealership had so many sales staff outside the bldg. that it was somewhat overwhelming. I dealt with Robert who was very nice but the price of my turn in and a new car was way overpriced. Don Negri at Hondaland(Tampa) was layed back, not aggresive, extremely helpful, and got down to businesswith an out the door figure QUICKLY. I was impressed with the professionalism of Don and John Leaver. They are a credit to their dealership and i will recommend them to my neighbors without any hesitation. So I bought a 2010 honda civic si from them, the car was delivered to me with a bunch of bufer burns on it. I went back and complained 3 times before they fixed it. They are hard to deal with and overcharge delivered to me with a bunch of bufer burns on it. I went back and complained 3 times before they fixed it. They are hard to deal with and overcharge for the new cars (watch out for the market value ajusment on the sticker) they tried to charge me$1500 morre than the car was worth. The sales guy that I was dealing with didn't know anything about the car and didn't do all the required explaining when I finally decided to buy the car.I do not recomend to buy from them because of my bad experience. More
