Service Department is aweful I have been a loyal Hyundai owner for over 20 years. I have had wonderful service at 3 different dealerships. Tamiami Hyundai has sadly made me feel the need to purchase a different brand next time. I have given this service department 4 chances to CARE about servicing my car. Each time I get more and more frustrated with their lack of organization, horrible scheduling and just plain "don't care" attitude. I have always gotten calls after service at every other dealer I have dealt with and could always give 5 stars. Never have gotten a call after being at this dealership. I wonder why? More
They don't care I did not buy my car from this dealership but I did come here for my flat tire that is covered by a protection plan I bout when I bought my Accent. After leaving me in the waiting area for 45 minutes, I found my service advisor to ask if he had found out about my flat tire. He said yes He did find I have a protection plan on my tires, but that he has to call the company to see if a flat is covered. (It's a flat tire...it's a tire protection plan....common sense). But he wasn't on the phone. So he said have a seat he will call. I was sick so I stayed that I was going to leave but gave my phone number for when my tire was finished. As I pulled out of the lot, he was calling. The claims department was closed and they can't fix the tire unless I buy one myself out of pocket. I said I would be right there. When I came back I spoke to the manager and he stated he can't talk to the claimed department until they are open And will not fix the tire unless I paid, "because he needs to get his money." I said that making sure I only get a flat Monday through Friday is crazy. Can't he just put the clam in on monady because I am unable to come in during the week due to my job. He said no and that he wants the payment before the car leaves the lot. I even offered that they make the claim on Monday and I could bring the car back to get fixed the following Saturday, he said that doesn't work that way. Th service manager was no help and very disrespectful. To act as if the money was coming from his own pocket and be so rude was completely out of line. The Hyundai dealership I bought the car from even offered to speak to him about it but he refused. This dealership has the worst customer service and they don't care at all about anything but that bottom line number. If there was an option for negative stars I would pick negative 5 stars. More

In the comments I marked to be contacted with more info, and marked the box to be contacted by the service adviser as well. Of course I never got a call from them at all. (I guess they don't really care about their customers, they will only invade you with calls, when you want to buy a car from them). When I arrived there, the guy that greeted me, rudely told me that the recall is not available yet, since Hyundai does not have a fix for this issue that increases the risk of a crash. When I spoke with the manager, Jim Mutka, he just told me that they were having issues with their online appointment system, and that why I didn't get any notifications. The funny part is that I did received an email remainder about my appointment. He didn't seem to have much remorse for my time wasted. I guess this is the service level you should expect when you buy a Hyundai... More
