This review is about the service department. I had been contemplating buying a new car here, but it is not worth it with the bad service. I have been taking my car for service for over 10 years. Every tim contemplating buying a new car here, but it is not worth it with the bad service. I have been taking my car for service for over 10 years. Every time I go I have to wait an extremely long time, even though I always make an appointment. Each time I wait, the tech upfront says they have to check, as if they had to leave me wait an entire day till they call back. My car was under warranty and they never found the problems during those years, now I had to pay and they still did not fix the issues. Last time I made a morning appointment and dropped it off, they said they'd call me. They didn't even bother till the following day. Then they worked on the car and I kept calling, told it was not ready. By this time, I took Uber there (what happened to offering anything??), and the desk tech had not even checked on my car which was just sitting there. It was 5:30pm the next day. Had I not gone, who knows how long it would have taken. It's the same issue every single time. Now I have to waste yet another day, or another who knows how long, for them to tell me there is nothing wrong with it, when there is. A disgrace. No apology offered either. More

I have written on here before but tamiami Hyundai has been amazing with their service. They have made up for my first visit and have gone beyond what I could believe. My radio didn’t work so they ordered been amazing with their service. They have made up for my first visit and have gone beyond what I could believe. My radio didn’t work so they ordered a part for it and when I picked it up they replaced my damaged headlights. Which was under warranty. Oscar was great and I will definitely come indeed. More

Excellent customer service My daughter's car was DOA on the side of the road the other day and we had it towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership. We had terrible service there and I was getting very frustrated as I wanted a safe vehicle for my daughter and I felt that I wasn't getting the best service there. I spoke with Linda at Tamiami Hyundai and explained the problem. She was able to get the car transferred to Tamiami and had the issue taken care of the same day. She really went above and beyond to help us and get my daughter back on the road safely. I could not be happier with Tamiami Hyundai service department, Linda especially. Thank you so much for your understanding and help with this issue. I really appreciate you Linda. More

Service is not customer oriented! I had a service appointment Monday morning, 2/11/19, at Tamiami Hyundai, Naples, FL, for an oil change and rotation. I arrived at 8:30 for a 9:00 AM I had a service appointment Monday morning, 2/11/19, at Tamiami Hyundai, Naples, FL, for an oil change and rotation. I arrived at 8:30 for a 9:00 AM appointment. Four and a half hours later at 1:00 PM, I got my car. During that extended period I asked several service advisors about the hold-up. All I got was "We will let you know when the car is ready". No one seemed to care that I had been waiting so long while other customers came and went. Finally, out of desperation, I walked into the service area. I was told by a technician that the car was finished. Once back outside, two advisors came to me. The one that had signed me in stated that it was all his fault. He had failed to note that I was waiting. There would be no charge. I guess I could buy that if I hadn't asked him and others multiple times about the delay. So, after over four hours, I have my car. However, I received no paperwork. Therefore, I have no record of the work performed. (or was it?). I tried contacting Hyundai corporate but was told I had to deal directly with the dealer. So, I did a chat at the dealer's web site. I was told that someone would contact me. Never happened. Finally, I sent the Service Manager an email from their web site. I stated that, if I hadn't heard from them by 3/1/19, I would post a review on Yelp. Here we are! All I'm looking for is some documentation as to the work performed. Of course, even though I bought my Santa Fe at Tamiami Hyundai, I'll never go there again. More

Very efficient service I had the Car in for recalls and everything went well. I was called promptly when the work was complete. Wiper fluid leak and more I had a wonderful experience at Tamiami Hyundai. My windshield wiper fluid was leaking and I was able to get my appointment scheduled with Christian I had a wonderful experience at Tamiami Hyundai. From the moment I arrived, the courtesy, professionalism and efficiency was tremendous! Pavel got me in efficiently, staff even helped me find cream for my coffee, too! They added in a recall that they found and helped me with other things that need to be done to my car. When I left I had the blessing of speaking with Matt, the service manager. It was a pleasant experience from arriving to leaving. More

Worst Dealership Ever! Tamiami Hyundai is by far the WORST dealership I have ever dealt with. I own a 2013 Sonata Hybrid that I bought new in the Spring of 2014. It curren Tamiami Hyundai is by far the WORST dealership I have ever dealt with. I own a 2013 Sonata Hybrid that I bought new in the Spring of 2014. It currently has 32,800 miles and has been the biggest headache I have ever dealt with. I took my car to Tamiami Hyundai for a routine oil change. I made an appointment, showed up on time, and even planned for it to take longer than it should. I waited for one and a half hours only for the serviceman to come out and try to upsell me on filters, maintenance kits, and other packages. When I declined, I asked how much longer the car would be and the gentleman said they had to put it back together. After another 15 minutes, I asked again for an update. I was told they were bringing it around. After another 5 minutes, I asked where they were "bringing it around" from as I needed to get to work and this was making me late. Eventually, a few minutes later, my car appeared. After that, I had a recall that needed to be completed. I scheduled an appointment and stated I needed a loaner car since I could not be late to work again. When I arrived, on time, I was walked to Hertz on site where I waited over 15 minutes for a person to appear to assist with a vehicle. This again made me late to work when I allotted ample time. Most recently, it was time again for a routine oil change. I scheduled an appointment and said I had some difficulty with the high beams flickering and my automatic window not operating fully. They added there was another recall on the vehicle. Due to all of this work, I requested a loaner vehicle since I could not sit at the dealership all day fixing manufacturer defaults. They said they do not offer loaners but I could take their complimentary shuttle, which only operates during regular business hours when I would be working, or pay for a rental car. I eventually spoke to a manager, John Atashian, who agreed to the loaner vehicle. When I dropped off the vehicle, I went over all the same questions and was again told they do not loan out vehicles. I explained the situation and the gentleman went to inspect my car. When he returned he said they would have provided a loaner anyway since it's a hybrid. It would have been nice if he had gotten all of the information so I would not have to argue in that case. I later received a call saying the high beams required a part they had to order. To my dismay, this would mean I would have to return yet again and most likely have to argue all of the same points just for Hyundai to correct a MANUFACTURER DEFAULT. Also, please note my car was never in any accidents to cause any damage of any kind. When I called to make the follow up appointment for the high beams I was told the shuttle operated until 6pm daily and I could then take that instead of a loaner car. All I cared about was getting to and from work in a timely fashion. When I appeared at the dealer, I asked if I could arrange for the shuttle pick up as I would need it at 5:45pm when I got off work. He said I could schedule it when they called to tell me my car was finished. When I entered the shuttle, knowing the driver would most likely be the same all day, I asked him if I could schedule a pick up at 5:45pm. He said he could not since the shuttle finished at 5pm. I told him we would need to turn around as I would be stranded if we continued. When I got back to Tamiami Hyundai, I explained that I was quite angry since I arranged this in advance and was now going to be late to work, for the third time due to this dealership. The gentleman was nonchalant and clearly wasn't bothered by the fact that I was given misinformation by representatives of their company. He spoke to his manager to inquire if a loaner car could be taken care of and returned without saying anything to me. After a minute, I asked if I should go to Hertz since I was in a huge hurry due to their miscommunication. He replied with an attitude and I walked to Hertz where the woman commented, "you were here the other day weren't you." If the rental car company knows who you are, you know you have a problem. In addition to the recalls I mentioned, there were at least one or two others that I am forgetting. Almost every time I go for any work, it is brought to my attention that there has been a recall Considering I spent over $20,000 to avoid problems that used cars often have, I cannot convey how truly disappointing and aggravating my experiences have been. I will never buy a Hyundai again, at the very least so I never have to deal with Tamiami Hyundai again. I will say, John Atashian has been helpful at times. He did agree to rotate my tires complimentary since I had so much trouble. He also was the gentleman who okayed the loaner cars on various occasions. I also reached out to Tamiami Hyundai's General Manager, Greg Abraham. He offered no compensation and said they will "attempt to get better in many ways." He was very short and showed no genuine care. More

I formed her that I had unlimited Eqqus service and repair coverage. She said not here you don’t. She convinced me by her attitude that I will never buy another Hyundai again. More

I asked what would have happened had they not fixed it. "One wheel would have gone to the right and the other to the left and you would have crashed." The service manager said Tamiami was negligent. I wrote to the CEO of Hyundai and they said they could do nothing because Tamiami is independent. Yesterday we took our Hyundai Accent to the same dealership (dumb on our part) because the hatch would not close. The woman in service said I think it is jammed and asked the manager to try with a screw driver he said no it need to be in the shop and diagnosed at another cost. We left and went to Nelson on Shirley St. He took a screw driver and unjammed it and it is perfect and he wouldn't charge us. I guess we finally learned our lesson STAY AWAY FROM TAMIAMI HYUNDAI. The mechanic spilled coffee in my car...seriously!?!?!? I was in for service on 2/4/17 at 9:30 am for a warranty repair issue. While I was sitting outside in the service drive waiting for my vehicle to be i I was in for service on 2/4/17 at 9:30 am for a warranty repair issue. While I was sitting outside in the service drive waiting for my vehicle to be inspected, I saw the mechanic walking to my vehicle with a completely full cup of coffee, no lid, and so full I saw steam coming from it. I saw him get into my vehicle and drive away. I sat waiting only hoping that the coffee was not spilled into my vehicle. After the service was completed I was presented with the paperwork, asked to sign, and I was told my vehicle was waiting. I would like to point out that there was NO mention that a mistake was made, or that coffee was spilled in my car. I went to my car and as soon as I opened the door I could smell the strong odor of coffee and it was completely obvious that it was spilled in my vehicle. The driver’s side seat was wet with coffee, the center console, and the driver’s side door. The fact that I need to write this review is mind blowing! The fact that they let their mechanics into customer's vehicle with ANY beverage is beyond unprofessional! I would NEVER expect that from a dealership! I understand accidents happen, but for a mechanic to spill coffee in my car is something that should NEVER in a million years happen. It is completely 100% unacceptable, and unprofessional! More
