Dangerous Dealearship Last season I went to TamiamiHyundai because my steering wheel was making a rubbing sound. on my Sante Fe They took it into the shop charged me a fort Last season I went to TamiamiHyundai because my steering wheel was making a rubbing sound. on my Sante Fe They took it into the shop charged me a fortune and said there was nothing wrong with it I drove it home to Pittsburgh and took it to Wright Hyundai who immediately said it was the steering column and fixed it no charge as it was under warranty. I asked what would have happened had they not fixed it. "One wheel would have gone to the right and the other to the left and you would have crashed." The service manager said Tamiami was negligent. I wrote to the CEO of Hyundai and they said they could do nothing because Tamiami is independent. Yesterday we took our Hyundai Accent to the same dealership (dumb on our part) because the hatch would not close. The woman in service said I think it is jammed and asked the manager to try with a screw driver he said no it need to be in the shop and diagnosed at another cost. We left and went to Nelson on Shirley St. He took a screw driver and unjammed it and it is perfect and he wouldn't charge us. I guess we finally learned our lesson STAY AWAY FROM TAMIAMI HYUNDAI. More
