I was so pleased with the service I received at Tameron Subaru. What a breath of fresh air. I had been very unpleased with the Subaru location here in Mobile for several years. So much so that I purchased Subaru. What a breath of fresh air. I had been very unpleased with the Subaru location here in Mobile for several years. So much so that I purchased my last Subaru from Caravan. Thank goodness Tameron bought the former Subaru of Mobile formerly Koby Subaru. Tameron's service department is top notch and when it comes time for me to get a new subaru I will be able to do so locally. Also Desiree Thing, the woman I dealt with in the service department was so helpful and knowledgeable. I will surely be back. More
I purchased a new Ascent through Subaru of Mobile. The next week Tameron took ownership. I’ve had a seemingly simple issue not uncommon to this vehicle. After four visits to service, it’s still not fixed. They refuse to provide keys until you’ve signed paperwork, but refuse to provide copies or an explanation of what is to be signed. The service manager assisted me at my third visit and was incredibly kind. The man who met me for my second and fourth visits was cold, rude, and altogether unhelpful. I drove an hour to get to this location only to waste more time, energy, and gas just to be treated poorly and the issue again go unrepaired. My purchase experience was wonderful, but everything after has been nothing short of a nightmare. More
Bought my car Jun ‘21 from Koby, only to learn a few days later than it was becoming Subaru of Mobile. Long story short, gave up trying to communicate with the latter. When exactly did Tameron take ownersh later than it was becoming Subaru of Mobile. Long story short, gave up trying to communicate with the latter. I’d like to know so I can determine if the poor reviews concern the prior owner or if the poor service and practices have continued under Tameron. Thank you. More
Since new ownership, service employees are rude. They don't return calls to give updates on vehicle that's been in the service dept for a straight 2 weeks and off and on for 2 months. Three of the times the service dept "fixed" the wrong thing and had to take it back so not even sure that they know what their doing. Very disapointed in my subaru that's 2 years old and this dealership. More
Koby Subaru was excellent! Subaru of Mobile is awful. Horrible service. Things not checked. Fluids not filled. Battery died eight days after I had my car serviced. Returned to the dealer, said they fixed it. Got home and still had no Freon added, wiper fluid, what else did they not do? Very difficult to reach you after your car has been serviced by them. Unfortunately, is the closest dealership to me. I feel like I lost trust in an old friend. Very discouraging. More
The service and the dealership in general wS great before the current regime. Poor service, cant answer simple questions, sometimes outright rude. Never see the same face. Website is misleading. Requested a rental car for my service . Stated 40$ a day . Now I’m stuck at dealership for hours when I had plans while car was in service . Also, I selected full detail since it was an option on website. Of course they don’t do that either. I mean why else can I expect from this service ? Pay for premium service and drive 45 minutes here to get subpar service. Didn’t help that I had to find someone to assist me More
Great Car Buying Experience I purchased a my first Subaru (Outback) in January 2017 and have been very happy with my car. I have been in for one oil change, and since I live out I purchased a my first Subaru (Outback) in January 2017 and have been very happy with my car. I have been in for one oil change, and since I live out of town Angie in the service department made it very easy for me to come over and get some errands done while I waited on my vehicle. I bought my car from Richard and he followed up very thoroughly asking if I had anymore questions about my vehicle, ensuring that I got everything I needed. So far I have had a great experience, and realize that I should have bought a Subaru in the first place! More
Service Manager Lied About Repairs My brand new 2015 WRX (purchased at Koby) started to make really bad rattling noises after 2 months of owning it. I thought it was a speaker cracklin My brand new 2015 WRX (purchased at Koby) started to make really bad rattling noises after 2 months of owning it. I thought it was a speaker crackling so I asked to have it replaced. Keith Skipper assured me the speaker was replaced. The same noise persisted and now a new noise was rattling in the door. I returned to Koby to have it fix. Keith told me everything had been fixed. Unfortunately for him, I spoke with the technician who worked on my vehicle. The technician told me the repairs weren't done and Keith had lied about the repairs. When I asked Keith about the repairs, he told me it should not matter which speaker in the car was replaced, I got a new a speaker out of the deal. But it was the wrong speaker! And Keith lied about what they did to fix the other rattling! Keith then gave me his business card to ensure I spelled his name right in the complaint and told me good luck in getting him fired. Horrible treatment and experience and very concerning for the others he has lied to about repairs. And my car still rattles. I wish I had went somewhere else. More
