The service department and dealership on the whole is much improved over Mobile Subaru. I did experience a frustrating problem after having the very expensive 30K mile service performed on my 2018 Forest much improved over Mobile Subaru. I did experience a frustrating problem after having the very expensive 30K mile service performed on my 2018 Forester, the next day the low windshield washer fluid level indicator illuminated. The fluid level had apparently not been checked, and certainly not refilled. This item is one of the listed items charged for on the service package. attention to detail, along with professionalism is valuable for customer satisfaction. More
The service writer was very nice. She gave me some of the same about repairs as I receive at my last oil change. I wonder if she got correct information from the repair person. I am compelled to share my honest feedback after experiencing multiple disappointments with Tameron Subaru. During my first encounter, I brought in my Legacy for its 6000-mile service. Specifica experiencing multiple disappointments with Tameron Subaru. During my first encounter, I brought in my Legacy for its 6000-mile service. Specifically, I requested to check a negative camber adjustment on the rear tires. However, the technician mentioned rear wheels are as per design and performed a 4-wheel alignment which resulted in my steering wheel being noticeably tilted towards the left. After raising the concern with the advisor, they rectified the alignment, though it was an inconvenience to have it corrected. Subsequently, during the third 18000-mile service, which solely entailed an oil and filter change, I encountered yet another issue. A persistent sound emanated from the steering wheel, which the technicians failed to resolve during the initial visit. Upon my return a week later and after being provided a loaner car, they attempted to address the sound issue. However, upon inspection, I noticed that the steering wheel was noticeably tilted towards the left in comparison to the loaner car. The advisor suggested a 4-wheel alignment, prompting me to return the following week. Despite their efforts to rectify the issue, I observed that my Legacy's steering wheel was now tilted towards the right. Additionally, the lane assist system began pulling the car towards the left, resulting in uncomfortably close proximity to the median. Despite voicing these concerns, the technician claimed to have test-driven the vehicle post-alignment, which was not the case as evidenced by my dash cam recordings. Furthermore, they insisted that the car was aligned correctly according to Subaru specifications, despite the evident lack of resolution to the problem. Dissatisfied with the service provided, I sought assistance from another dealership shortly after. To my surprise, they discovered that while the front wheel alignment was indeed corrected, the rear wheels were out of Subaru specifications, necessitating the replacement of the rear suspension components. This raised a valid question: how could different Subaru dealerships adhere to varying specifications? This inconsistency in standards further eroded my confidence in Tameron Subaru's service department. Ultimately, I am reluctantly awarding a 2-star rating, acknowledging the efforts of the service advisors in attempting to resolve the issues. However, given the recurring nature of the problems and the inconvenience it has caused, I am compelled to seek service elsewhere, even if it means traveling an hour to ensure my vehicle is properly attended to. Had a tire pr great. The service writer Tyler Speights listened to my issues and desired services and was very understanding of my time and my car. Had a tire problem and they checked it out too while in for standard service (oil/filter change and tire rotation and… fluid checks/top off). I left it at the dealer and it was ready to pick up in about and hour and a half. The Tameron service department is excellent and trustworthy. Mr Speights made sure that my car was ready to go before I picked it up. He even helped to solve some software update issues for us by answering our questions and directing us to Subaru website to update everything. He is the heart and soul of Subaru service and is well experienced, confident, and friendly. We own several Subarus and all will return to Tameron for service based on Mr. Speights’ outstanding customer service and the skilled service department at Tameron Subaru. Thank you Tameron and thank you for Mr Speights superior customer service to us. More
