I had an appointment at 2:00 PM. This is for regular oil change. The representative at the front desk told me that it can’t be serviced as I crossed the mileage window and, told me t This is for regular oil change. The representative at the front desk told me that it can’t be serviced as I crossed the mileage window and, told me to come back at 23500 mileage (as per the previous service, my next service is at 16800 but I came here at 17800). I was in shock and worried that I have to drive another 5700 miles to get my car serviced. I asked for an actual service guy to reset the service due warning sign. I asked him on how am I supposed to drive another 5700 miles with the 8k miles old engine oil. He was surprised same as me. Then he spoke to the representative and then the representative agreed to take my car by saying “this service will be charged as you crossed the mileage window, and the next service if you bring it on time then it will be free”. I have never seen this kind of condition till now. I had my previous servicing at a different location and they never mentioned anything like this. More
