After purchasing my Honda Prelude from this dealer several years ago, I would have rated that experience as so-so. But after a battery change ( not close enough to be done at the dealership) my car st several years ago, I would have rated that experience as so-so. But after a battery change ( not close enough to be done at the dealership) my car stereo system was locked up. An antitheft device. No big deal, they said, if you bought the car from us we will track the serial number and give you the code to unlock the system. Once made the trip there, they did not have that info, and wanted to charge me $75 to pull the stereo and get the serial number to track the code. I told them before I paid $75 to get that info, I would sooner go to a car stereo shop and upgrade to a system with a CD player ( mine just had cassette). I also reminded them that since the purchase, I had given them business for quite a few of the routine, yet high dollar, maintenance services. <br> <br>I learned that the code they were speaking of is generally given to you on a card at the time of the sale. I still have the original paperwork in a ziploc bag...even including the window sticker..and I never received a card with the code. After realizing that, I called them back. They said to come on down, they would "work with me"<br> on that. <br><br>Once there, for the second time, they again said the charge would be $75. Not what I call "working with me". I am sure they thought since I was there I would cave and pay them the money. Did not happen. Went to a car stereo store, they pulled the stereo and tracked the code for $25......<br><br>And Tameron gets no more business from me. More
