Job done but poor customer service I had to have my 2013 F-150 towed to this dealership after the truck stalled on the side of the road (for the second time in 2 weeks). The service advisor, Jeff Arnold, seemed uninterested at best in assisting, and perhaps downright annoyed. He took my information and said he would call me. After waiting several hours, I tried calling to see if there was any update. I kept getting re-routed, until finally someone said that Jeff was busy and took my name and number. I waited several more hours without a phone call back, so my wife brought me over to the dealership to see what was going on. When I got there, Jeff stated that they hadn't looked at it yet, again appearing very annoyed that he was being bothered. I asked if i could get a few things from my truck, and he pointed to a lot in the back forty of the parking area, and said "yeah, it's over there somewhere." I returned about 8:30 the next morning as my wife had a service appointment for her Ford Escape. I walked up to Jeff to see what was happening with my truck, and he walked right past me into the garage area. He came back and said they still hadn't looked at it, but that it was next on the list. We spoke to the service manager (not sure of his name), and he apologized, said they were short handed and set me up with a rental vehicle. I can understand being short handed, but this should have been communicated. They ultimately got the truck repaired, but the lack of communication as to what was happening with my vehicle and overall customer service was poor. So in the words of the Jay Peterman character from Seinfeld, "Thanks, I guess, for a job...done." More
True professionals who care about the customer!!!, I need to leave a review for the Tallahassee Ford Lincoln Service Department Staff( specifically Craig "CJ" Johnson, Shawn Wells, and Marcus Williams) I need to leave a review for the Tallahassee Ford Lincoln Service Department Staff( specifically Craig "CJ" Johnson, Shawn Wells, and Marcus Williams). They are everything a car owner wants in a shop! On Saturday(08/23/2014) after only having my Hyundai Tucson back from Capital City Hyundai after a weeks worth of being put off/ stalled, parts mysteriously not coming in, and mechanics leaving mid projects. Then, being told that a full "safety maintenance inspection" was performed and all parts were checked (I specifically asked to basically tear the car apart and if there was anything wrong with it just fix it/replace it and I'll gladly pay for it) AND a 2nd replacement of a transmission that didn't even last 9,000 miles (original lasted well over 80k) and being assured that the vehicle was in complete and perfect working order with no need for any further replacements, I noticed a knocking and rubbing noise occurring after turning (it had been driven a total of 30 miles since I picked it up the night before). Of course I was infuriated, due to literally not having the car back for 24 ours and being assured it was perfectly fine and now, another problem had arisen. I was at my wits end, shaking, in tears from frustration and at the Tallahassee Mall-So I called the Ford Service Station to ask if I could borrow someones time just to see what could be wrong, as I A. Refuse to NEVER have a mechanic from Capital City Hyundai touch my vehicle again and B. just desperately wanted someone to tell me what else could be wrong with my car so I could simply FIX IT and be HONEST with me.. They close at 2 and it was 1:30 (which I of course felt awful about) but if it was possible I wanted someone to look at it just so I could figure out what to do next. Not only was the person who answered the phone more than pleasant but told me that if i was that close to come in and give it a try. So I did and I was more than impressed by the general concern and care that these Service Mechanics had for a random, non-ford customer pulling in off the road right before close. Within minutes of me telling my story to a cashier, she had me in a bay speaking with a multitude of people. First, Shawn Wells, then Marcus Williams and then CJ. Before I could even blink, they had a mechanic in my car and checking it out and then it was up on a lift. They took the last few minutes out of their Saturday closing to help a complete stranger and non-ford customer out without even batting an eyelash or throwing an attitude. I honestly can't say how incredibly thankful I am to Tallahassee Ford Lincoln and their service staff for Saturday and this whole week. They went above and beyond to help someone they had never seen at the dealership before. I must say, Ford Vehicle or not they have a customer so long as I live and reside in Tallahassee Florida. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a honest service station to take care of their car and all with a smile. And as an update they took care of my Hyundai afterwords. getting an appointment was easy! When they told me my car would be ready it was. Got my parts in, installed and my car checked and inspected faster than Hyundai ever has. No head aches, no stress, and always smiling faces!! More

So when I was losing coolant a week after buying, I went to Tallahassee Ford. First visit I was informed they were too busy, so I scheduled an appointment for 1p the next day. Took off work and headed for the dealer. The computer "lost" my appointment. I was again informed that they were too busy for me to simply wait. I set another appointment for 8a a couple of days later. I use my truck for work,and informed Bill of that from the beginning. I cleared my work schedule and arrived at 7:45 for my 8a appointment. I got a ride to my office, and did what work I could for the day. At 5, I hear it will be the following morning for my truck, so I clear another day of inspections I need to do to make a living. At 9a I call and find out my truck is on the hoist, and being inspected. 45 minutes later, I am called and told it needs a part from Atlanta, and it will be ANOTHER day. Now, the inspection of my truck appears to have taken no more than a couple of hours. Had that actually happened on the day I was scheduled, that part would have been ordered, and this would have been settled in two days. Because of their apparent chronic overbooking, they have cost me a 3rd day of work. The general impression I get is that they book the service dept far beyond capacity, and fail to communicate this to the customer. Had I been told 3 days to begin with, I would have scheduled accordingly, but instead, I was simply put off, repeatedly, with no consideration for my loss of income, due to their poor management. This is not how I treat clients and I do not understand how Tallahassee Ford feels this is an acceptable business practice. More

My truck broke down on the way to Palm Beach in Tallahassee. The service department took great care of my truck and even came and picked me up from my hotel and took me back to the dealership. I came in to have a truck key made. I was given misinformation by the parts counter on cost of "programming" key. As I was talking with the service writer and being told there was a significant ch misinformation by the parts counter on cost of "programming" key. As I was talking with the service writer and being told there was a significant charge and waiting time, Service Manager Jeff Carroll inquired about the conversation and took it upon himself to program the key and saved me the programming cost. His attitude was great, his willingness to assist me as the customer shows that TFLM has the right person for this job. He has good people skills (even for a Saturday morning). I was impressed to say the least! Thank you again................ More
