Wow, what a great way to buy a used car! I wasn’t even aware that this type of online selling of used cars was a “thing”. I guess there may be others using this business model, but I’m rea I wasn’t even aware that this type of online selling of used cars was a “thing”. I guess there may be others using this business model, but I’m really impressed with THIScar. For several months my son and I have been looking for a good second car (low mileage < 15k, not too old < 4 yr, not too expensive < $30k) using AutoTrader and CarGurus. We found a number that looked good, but all were at dealerships. When we checked them out, there were always dealer ”markups” for unwanted and unadvertised “upgrades”, often around several thousand dollars! But one really good looking car, at what I considered a great price, turned out was being sold by THIScar (Tomball, TX). What really amazed me was that the advertised price really was the price (only a $300 service charge added). The online documentation was very thorough, and the photos detailing the car were excellent. One of the best features was that the sales person working us, Will Fogelman, was really more of an assistant, helping us go over the car, answering our questions. If he didn’t know the answer, he’d find out and text. There was no pressure, everything was very relaxed. The car was everything we were looking for, we purchased it, and are very satisfied! More
