Andy, the manager of Used Cars, made up for the headaches and problems experienced earlier. He showed total devotion to seeing that my current needs were met, and made every effort to repair the botched RAV4 lease deal (on the financial end) that occurred in 2011. Andy has shown great kindness and consideration and deserves outstanding recognition and rewards for his efforts from this dealership. Correcting previous negative experiences was certainly not an easy thing to do. His heart went into making everything right and he saw it through to completion. Kudos and "thank you" Andy! More

Out of the dealership ex I've done the car shopping homework for you. I went to 4 Toyota Dealerships including online and the Kelly Blue Book website. Out of the dealership experience I chose SzottM59. The customer service I received was paramount to ANY of the other dealerships. My salesperson RAY SADLER was great. He was the only sales person to come out side to greet me while I was browsing the Prius Inventory, He made the whole process very comfortable and easy for me. Being a women walking into a dealership alone syndrome was NEVER apparent. He make it clear he wanted my business and followed through with all the promises. I got the best Prius deal/price bar none. The other dealers didn't compare to the price and service. Ray is your Man. Thank you Ray. Bernice More

It started with being met at the door by my salesperson, Ray Sadler, who greeted me with a smile and a handshake, and just got better from there. This is my first new car purchase in 14 years and I was pleased at how efficiently and professionally everything was completed. Everyone at Szott is courteous, professional and friendly, and there is absolutely no pressure to buy. I can't thank Ray enough! A big thank you to Tim as well, pulling double duty today to help complete the financing paperwork--he, too, was nothing but courteous and professional and thoroughly explained all the purchase documents. I am very pleased with my purchase and love my new car. I highly recommend Szott--definitely worth the drive! Thank you again, Ray and Tim! More

Andy, Suzanne, and Brian Freed put all their time and effort into making it as fast as possible with amazing customer service and friendliness. Brian F made my parts experience fast and easy with purchasing my door latch. He was quick and educated on my part, and how it would be put onto my car. Suzanne and Andy helped me get approved and into the perfect new car! I will be recommending Szott Toyota Scion to all my friends for their car needs! Five stars across the board!!!!!!! Andy, Suzanne, and Brian are truly amazing employees and I look forward to doing business with them in the future! More
David Radcliffe is good to work with FULL DISCLOSURE: At the time of this review, I am still in the market for a new, "premium," full-size sedan. This is no fault of Szott Toyota, rather, FULL DISCLOSURE: At the time of this review, I am still in the market for a new, "premium," full-size sedan. This is no fault of Szott Toyota, rather, I'm in the process of relocating to another state and it's making car shopping difficult. As such, I am not able to fairly review the full purchase process -- only the initial meeting and test drive with Mr. Radcliffe. If I were staying in the area, it would be easier to have closed the deal here. ABOUT ME: I'm a highly educated consumer. I subscribe to the Galves Guide for the fun of it. I watch pricing trends on new/used cars, watch for incentives (hint: they're just about always available unless the car is a new model), and I'm aware of at least some of the hidden profit in new cars. In fact, the invoice price is not much of a useful number to shoot for these days; you should be under it. However, I HATE car shopping for all of the reasons most of you do. I contacted a number of dealers via email to find out who might want to deal with me. Some offered aggressive prices (lower than Szott) to entice me to visit. David offered a price that was reasonably competitive, but he also took the time to explain the inventory, a bit about his sales philosophy, etc. Although that may not interest shoppers looking strictly for the bottom-line best price, I appreciated talking with a person rather than the automatically generated emails one typically receives. Car salespeople are usually pretty busy, and I can't blame them for not typing email replies to every Internet sales lead (most of which are likely bogus); so I appreciated Dave's efforts. He allowed me the chance to sit in the car and just LEARN the features. No breathing down my neck. I didn't even drive the (Avalon Limited) car for the first hour of my visit. I sat in it alone and attempted to get comfortable with it and ascertain if I could live with it for years to come. (It bugs me how quickly many salespeople rush you through such an evaluation. This is why so many people experience regret after a car purchase -- they simply fell in love with the new car and didn't thoroughly examine its features and faults. The Avalon, like any car, had plenty of both.) I did take it out for a test drive; however, the drive was short and not truly useful due to it being short and not similar to my daily commute. After Dave learned of my seriousness, he offered to let me take it home for a more thorough evaluation. Although I haven't taken him up on the offer, this would certainly be a good way to evaluate the vehicle in depth. (It's also a good way to get more emotionally involved with the car, so take such an opportunity under careful consideration if you have the chance.) I am not reviewing the Avalon, however, just Dave Radcliffe. Although I haven't had the opportunity to close a deal with him and judge whether the entire transaction would be transparent and not overly long, I can say that Dave gives me confidence both he and Szott would be worth purchasing from. The only thing I didn't like is them photocopying my driver's license. Although David assured me that Szott wouldn't run a credit check, I do realize that I'm now in a sales database shared by (at least) all Szott's dealerships. As I value my privacy, the thought of that bugs me. To be fair, just about any dealership will scan your ID -- at least if you want to do a test drive. Although ostensibly they do it for "insurance purposes," more than likely that has little, if anything, to do with it. My only advice is to explicitly request that no credit check is run. It's illegal to do so without your consent. It's not a bad idea to check your credit report after you've shopped a few dealerships to ensure none have pulled your file. If they have, they're in trouble. No matter what, take the time to educate yourself on the car(s) you're shopping for, and read all the paperwork carefully at the dealership, no matter how tired or rushed you may feel. If you feel too tired to read the contract closely, I recommend leaving to come back when you're fresh. Again, I haven't been to the closing table at Szott Toyota, so I can't comment on that experience. I do have a good impression of Dave Radcliffe, though. Ultimately, I recommend you visit Dave Radcliffe at Szott Toyota. I hope he treats you as he did me -- respectful of my time and understanding that careful, comparative shoppers need time to make a decision. Thanks, Dave! More
The best car salesman we ever met From the initial phone call to the visit with John at the dealership, we were pleasantly surprised with the courtesy, friendliness and understanding o From the initial phone call to the visit with John at the dealership, we were pleasantly surprised with the courtesy, friendliness and understanding of John, very unusual for a car salesman. He understood our needs and desires and got the car exactly as we wanted. We got a good price and excellent service from John and everyone else at the dealership was very courteous and respectful. The finance "guy" who prepared the paperwork and got our signatures for finalizing the credit and deal was also very respectful and courteous. We would definitely refer any friends to John and this dealership. I have no regrets driving 60 miles to see and buy a car at the same price as we could get locally because we were treated well. Because of our request, the car was even delivered at our home when it was ready. Keep up the good treatment of customers, you will do well John, and Szott M59 Toyota. More

Ray Sad I was interested in a Prius and found Szott after an internet search. The dealership was reasonably close so I e-mailed for more information. Ray Sadler called me within minutes. A half-four later I was at the dealership for a test drive while my car was being appraised. We agreed on a fair price without any of the usual high-pressure tactics. Two hours later I returned to pick up my new car. The process was well organized and efficient. Of the twenty-four cars I have bought over the years, this was the fastest and most pleasant car buying experience I have had. More
