Worst dealership experience I have visited this dealership three times and the last two visits were miserable. The second visit I made was to look at a jeep that I saw online and I have visited this dealership three times and the last two visits were miserable. The second visit I made was to look at a jeep that I saw online and was very interested in. They had me test drive the jeep on E, which I was extremely uncomfortable with. After asking if this vehicle has been in a car accident, etc the answer was stated no. I was given the impression the car was in great shape and never had any issues. The car was in the process of being bought buy someone else who they stated would most likely not get approved. I don't agree with sharing information with other clients like that and considered it unprofessional. Also, they are extremely pushy in regards to how they want you to finance your vehicle. I prefer to use my own credit union and not do any business with the dealership but they don't listen well. After watching the site over the next few days, and the jeep still being listed I finally decided I would like to purchase the vehicle once the price was not going to be negotiated at all. I decided even with not liking the customer service, the jeep was worth it. I went back to purchase the vehicle and left a larger deposit because the jeep left the lot to be auctioned off since they could not sell it. They agreed to have it delivered back. I was told that if anything went wrong, like i asked, that I would receive my deposit back. The next morning, I wanted to double check the carfax to make sure everything that was said was correct and to have it for records obviously. My first mistake, was not receiving this first. It would have saved me a lot of frustration, crying and having to clean up a big mess. After seeing the carfax, the jeep had been in an accident. Probably why no one would by it, even if the damage was considered minor. When I called to cancel the purchase as a result of being lied to, I was told I could not receive my down payment back by the manager. From that point, I had no choice to almost involve my lawyer because what they were doing was illegal. I had not signed any contract stating it was non refundable and I was specifically told I would be given my money. I left work once I found out I would not receive my 1,000 dollar down payment. Thankfully, I did not give them more money at the time. I went up there to speak to the GM and unfortunately they brought me to the same manger I spoke to on the phone. That only ended with more arguing and being told to have my lawyer contact their legal team. I left crying and as I walked out called my boyfriend preparing to contact a lawyer. My boyfriend went to the dealership and was able to get my money back after being frustrated. In my opinion anyone that conducts business like this deserves to be sued. The man my bf spoke with stated he was in the process of refunding my money which I dont believe at all. He never said anything when he brought me to speak the manager and watch me leave the lot. He did not contact me at all. I dont trust anything anyone says at this place. I woud never recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Trust me, theres plenty of other jeep dealerships. Ive had service that doesnt even compare since then. Never again will I step foot on this lot. More

they are selling services before they are due I have bought multiple vehicles from Szott. I have been happy with their service until the last time. When they changed my oil last time, they did not reset my warning light, so I did. That was not the problem, the time before, when they changed my oil, they told me the car was due for a service that was expensive, and I said maybe next time because I did not have the mileage yet for the service, 30000 miles. Last time I was there, I was told the same thing and I said if it is due at 30000 miles, go ahead and do it at a cost of about $360.00 The service was completed and I paid the bill. part of the service was a change of plugs and oil changes on the axles and transmission and transfer case. I asked the service guy if they changed my air filter and he said they check it, and replace it if it is dirty. The next day I looked at the owners manual and it said to change the air filter at 30000 miles, not check it as I was told. It also said to check those fluid levels at 30000 miles and replace at 60000 miles not at 30000. So they conned me into buying services not yet due. Please be ware of what you are buying and when they say it is due, check your owners manual before spending money there. I am going to another dealer next time for service. More

Amazingly quick and easy purchase I was looking for a specific JK, I found that Szott had the exact model I wanted. I placed a contact me through their website on the VIN I had found before they opened. Within 30 minutes from opening, I had a call from Ben explaining he had the Jeep. We conversed and I told him I'd be in later and wanted it. Ben placed a sold tag on the Jeep (luckily since 3 others wanted it as well after my call). When I arrived I was greeted quickly. Ben was with another customer, but offered to get me the keys to see and drive the Jeep (I didn't need a test drive I've drove many). Ben and I discussed the deal. Paperwork was quickly written up and signed. I found a small tar smudge on the hood and a chipped windshield. Both items were quickly solved so I could take delivery. Andrew in Finance worked quickly to get me set up to sign the papers, he also located a special incentive on an extended warranty that added less than a Big Mac to the monthly payment. I highly recommend this dealer, and all of its staff. Even as I waited you could see all the sales staff was working and making all the other customers happy. Ben did an outstanding job to facilitate the deal and make the sale. I was never pushed or pressured and offered drinks, snacks, even an arrangement to get them the down payment as I live 50 miles away. This kind of service will keep me as a customer any time I buy a Chrysler or Jeep product - even with the distance I would need to drive. More

I visited Szott's Chrysler/Jeep dealership a few weeks ago to take a look at the 2015 Chrysler 200S. Ben (who I really liked) asked me if I'd like to test drive one. I did and liked the car more than I thought I would. So Ben and I started working on putting a deal together. I had a 2008 Honda Accord with 100,000+ miles on it to trade in. By the way, the Honda (and it's dealership core) never gave me even the slightest issue or problem. The main reason I opted for the Chrysler was the simple fact that it was "made in America" In any event, I picked out the colors, options, etc. I wanted on my vehicle. When it arrived, Ben and I went over the operations of the new gizmos and gadgets and I left a happy guy. After a week or so I decided to read the owners manual to learn how to operate the accessories. I was disappointed that the 'safetytec' package I had asked for was not installed in the car. I mentioned this to Ben on the phone and he was very apologetic. (When I selected that option from the Chrysler brochure, he indicated to me that it was 'included' in one of the other packages I had picked out, so I never gave it another thought). He told me over the phone that he'd "make it up to me" I don't know what he meant by that, since that option cannot be installed after the car has been built. In any event, I loved the car but wasn't happy. I wrote a very professional letter to the sales manager, Jeff Schneider and waited a month with no written reply, nor a phone call from either Ben or Jeff. I wasn't asking for anything, just wanted Jeff to know I wasn't pleased with the transaction. After that month of waiting, I wrote to one of the owners (Thad Szott) and voiced my concerns to him about the lack of follow-up from Jeff/Ben. I fly a private jet, and when I landed at the Oakland-Pontiac airport a few days ago, there was a voice message from Jeff asking me to call him back. I did the next morning and left him a voice message that I'd be on my phone all day. (Actually I was not flying for the next three days, so was on my phone 24/7). I did not receive a call back from him. Once again, I wasn't asking for money or any kind of compensation. I just wanted 'management' to know I was displeased. Going forward now, I will not discuss my issue with Jeff, Ben or Thad. Needless to say, I won't acquire another vehicle from that dealership. I operate a private aviation service. If I treated my customers to that type of service (or lack of), I would certainly be out of business today. My advice.....get the 2015 200S.....it's a great car......just buy/lease it from another dealership. More
