I would give a 20star rating, if I could, to the salesman, Dan Kittle at Szott Ford in Holly. He went way above to help me with the purchase and the lease of my 2017 and 2020 Edge. He saved me from many tasks I would have had to do. The things he helped me with are too numerous to list. I never had to use the service center in the past 6 years except for oil changes, so I cannot comment on that, however, if you need a super salesman, contact Dan Kittle! More
Worst service department! Never use Szott service department. I was out of town and my steering system failed on my 2019 Ford Escape which has 20 thousand miles so I had it towed to szott because it department. I was out of town and my steering system failed on my 2019 Ford Escape which has 20 thousand miles so I had it towed to szott because it was the nearest dealership, This is a repair covered by warranty and part of my lease agreement is their supposed to provide a loaner car. Rob in the service department told me it would be a quick fix but when I called several hours later to check on the status Rob then told me it would take a day or two. I told him I’m from out of town and need a loaner car Rob told me there was none available. It ended up taking four days to finish repair and they denied me a loaner car every day. Rob never called me to tell me the car was ready for pick up so Rob attempted to leave me waiting another day but I paid for a ride to the dealership on the fourth day because I couldn’t wait another day and lucky for me my car was ready. Szott ford left me stranded while out of town without a car for four days. Not only will I never do business with them again but I will never do business with Ford again. Worst experience ever More
Lost my future business Took my month old lease in for a back up camera issue. Expected a diagnosis and needing to wait for a part to be ordered. Did not expect the employees to be openly browsing and crowding around monitors to watch youtube videos. We were supposed to get the vehicle back the same day but they never called. We were told they'd call us at three points and they never did. When we finally got the vehicle back the problem persisted. I asked if they saw any codes or if they took any action and they said they scanned it but found no codes and just cleaned the terminals. They wanted us to bring it back but I wasn't convinced they'd fix it the second time either. Did some research and found other customers having similar issues and even a potential code to look for. When I called back to make an appointment I explained my findings and it was obvious they were not interested but admitted they didn't see the issue when they pulled the vehicle into the garage and may have disconnected the battery (which clears out codes) to clean the terminals before running a diagnostics scan. There was also a potential that the code would clear after a certain number of key cycles which they never attempted to witness and were unwilling to entertain but were happy to not fix it for a second time and get paid. At this point I wouldn't trust them to check my tire pressure and I'd give them no stars if I could. More
I have been dealing with Szott Ford on trying to do a lease turn in for over 2 months. I understand the world we are living in right now, but the employees at this dealership are by far the worse I have lease turn in for over 2 months. I understand the world we are living in right now, but the employees at this dealership are by far the worse I have EVER DEALT with. Firstly I called and left 3 voicemails on a ladies VM ( cant remember name) and never got a phone call back. So when my lease was up at the end of March, I went early around the 14th of March to try and turn in, since I never received a call back. When I drove down there it was right around when we shut all places down due to covid, however the website said service was open. When I went to the service department they were so rude and actually said “we don’t want your car, don’t you know what’s going on in the world?” I walked away and called Ford Corporate to explain to them what happened. They said it was no biggie and just to keep the car till mid April. When April came around still businesses were shut down, Ford called me again and said I could keep driving the car till we all figure out what’s going on. So now it’s May and I called once again to the dealership to only receive a VM again for I believe his name is Dan... I left him a VM never heard back, called a few days later got ahold of him for him to only say, “we’re in a zoom meeting I’ll have to call you back” took 2 days to hear back, finally I heard back and and he said we really don’t have space for your lease turn in. I was like I’m sorry but that’s not my problem, we figured it out and made arrangements to drop it off. That day came around I called to advise I wouldn’t be able to make it to the receptionist and she’d tell Dan. So now it’s May 21st I drive down after speaking to a lady the day prior and said I’d be down between 11-12pm, she said sure that it would be better as they’d be moving vehicles around all morning. I got there called the receptionist answered and said I’d need to look for someone on the lot. I was like oh so I need to search for someone you can’t call? She was like nope. I found an employee who was moving a blue Ford F-150 and he said to move my Ford Escape by the service department, write down the last 8-digits of VIN and mileage. I did just that, stood around for 15 minutes, he drove by me still moving vehicles and asked for my mileage and VIN, I gave him that information and my email he said he’d go to his desk and write up my lease termination papers and email me. It’s now the 27th almost a week past and nothing still. I took pictures thank god and they are dated and time stamped. Called today to ask for them and the receptionist asked if I signed anything, I was like no, he said they were all to busy and he would just email me. Well that’s NOT THE CASE! If your looking for an amazing Ford Dealership and willing to drive and receive the service you deserve, do yourself a huge favor and go to Hagen Ford in Bay City, MI. I would never go back to Szott for anything if it was the last option. They are rude, never follows through on their word and just plan unorganized!!!! More

Sales person review at Szott Ford I have always found Szott Ford to be excellent on all aspects including sales, leasing, and their service department. I met with a new sales person ( I have always found Szott Ford to be excellent on all aspects including sales, leasing, and their service department. I met with a new sales person (new to me), Delila Brown and she was very personable. No pressure, patient with myself arriving during a busy snowy day. She took me out for a drive and we discussed options for leasing a car, She was so nice and helpful with working with me. When I decided to go with a different option she was so understanding and left the door open if there was a way to complete a lease in the future. Although I stayed in the Szott family for dealerships it was a different brand choice I made. Because of her I will return in the future. More

THEY MADE IT RIGHT! I took my car in for service last thursday, 12/5/19. I was just a little disappointed that I received my car back a little less clean on the interior than when I left it. Well, Szott Ford, Dan Kittle and the Service Department made it right. They came and got my vehicle from my home, detailed it inside and out and even fixed two recalls I was unaware that were out there. I have been dealing with Dan Kittle and Szott Ford for over 25 years. This reaction to my original review was phenomenal. I just can't get over it! My car is now as clean and beautiful as the first time I drove it off the lot. Way to go Team. I do and will always recommend Scott Ford for anybody's vehicle needs. More

She then takes hours before calling me with a quote, finally I get some numbers and I ask, what is the $1,000 down for? She then goes on to speak to me like I'm an idiot and goes around my questions, 3 times. I asked for a window sticker and some photos, NONE! I call back the next day to speak to someone else, I get Todd, I told Todd my situation and he laughed because the first rep didn't deliver. He says "I'll have prices within the next half hour" guess what? NONE, I call back again to talk to Todd and the receptionist says "We don't have a Todd who works in new car sales" xxx!!!! So, I say, can I speak to anyone who can help me GIVE YOU MONEY??? Kyle picks up, so I give him the rundown of what we want and he says, give me a half hour and I'll get you prices, window sticker, and photos, well guess what??? NONE. I finally called a different dealership and I was able to get quotes within 5 minutes and a link to 12 different cars to choose from, THEY'RE getting my business. Not this place. More
