This is a great dealership and "women friendly" too. I appreciated my experience at Silver Star because our sales professional (Eugene) was very down to earth, honest, and was able to work with me as an I appreciated my experience at Silver Star because our sales professional (Eugene) was very down to earth, honest, and was able to work with me as an equal. I was able to test the vehicle, discuss the specifics that I wanted, and hear the pricing details without and games or sales pitch etc. The crew did a good job on delivery and even put a big bow on the car (it was my birthday present). The only dismay I have had is that the charging and electric information was communicated wrong and this has led to some distrust of my purchase. Because this all electric car is a definite culture shock for all who purchase the information that is provided about how to power it should be accurate. I feel like I was lied to. PS, in addition to Eugene I really liked working with Lou!! THANKS!!! More

Frank in Finance did a great job getting me a good rate and I was pleased with the purchase. As usual the dealer never makes it easy and I spent 4 hours there which is way too long, but that just seems the way it is with auto purchases. More

Service lights I had to have my car checked as the ABS and service stabili track lights were on. I made an appt. and even though they were very busy I was taken rig I had to have my car checked as the ABS and service stabili track lights were on. I made an appt. and even though they were very busy I was taken right in and because I was waiting for my vehicle instead of dropping off they looked at it right away so if it needed a long time I could make arrangements. It was fixed in 2 hours and luckily not a major problem. I was very impressed with their thoughtfulness. More

After only 704 miles, I retuned the truck showed them the rat nest that is full of tree leaves same as in Silver Star's Parking Lot they said they would fix it after 30 days its still not fix (unless you think throwing electrical tape on one of many chewed wires is fixing I don't) I have asked for a new truck and they have the nerve to want me to pay over $8,000.00 more for a similar truck. I talked to General Motors and got the runaround wasted my time and then told me it was a environmental problem that they are not responsible. They have ruined my summer instead of going on vacation I'm dealing with this. DONT BUY GM DONT BUY FROM SILVER STAR. More
Very positive experience with Silver Star Chevrolet! I just bought a new Volt (Best car ever) from Silver Star and the experience was great. I ordered the car from factory as I was specific about what colors I wanted and while that took a bit longer than I expected, Silver Star was great about it- they kept giving me updates- even told me the birthday (production date) of my car (6/12/2017), which was kinda fun. Juan was great. He looked for every rebate and discount they could find for me. Even the finance guy found ways for me to save money overall. Juan was very patient in explaining all the features of the car, which are many and he had to go over several things more than once. When the car came, my sons were out of town and so Juan offered to drive my old car home and get a ride back from staff. This was tremendously helpful and I was very grateful to him. Juan and the rest of staff went out of their way to be helpful. Juan is very nice guy, very authentic- not one of those stereotype car salesmen, easy manner about him and very helpful. I love the car and Silver Star made the experience smooth and pleasant. More
Extremely Unhappy GM Chevrolet Customer Issue I want to bring to your attention an experience that I had at one of your dealers when I purchased my vehicle last week. I leased a 2017 BOLT LT fr I want to bring to your attention an experience that I had at one of your dealers when I purchased my vehicle last week. I leased a 2017 BOLT LT from Silver Star Chevrolet in Thousand Oaks, California on 9th August 2017. I live in Cypress, CA and I drive 63 miles to Thousand Oaks to buy my vehicle since I had committed to the dealer. The dealer cheated me because we talked about the deal at $3500 down with $165/month payments. Here are the 2 concerns I have 1. The never told me that $3500 down payment would NOT include the first month payment which they took from me right away 2. The tricked me and forced me into buying the lease protection plan for $825 I would have never known that I got cheated until my friend Rishi Goel lease the exact same vehicle with exact same features on 11th August 2017 from Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove and he got the exact same deal with first month payment included in $3500 down and also the lease protection plan was for $375 rather than $825 that I was tricked into buying. Now that I have already bought the vehicle I am STUCK but I want you to be aware of the fact on how I was cheated so others do not get cheated the same way I did. More
