I bought a 2022 Canyon Denali this year. I was only missing one chip for the front seats. In early November I received a letter from GM saying to contact my dealer for the completion of my t I was only missing one chip for the front seats. In early November I received a letter from GM saying to contact my dealer for the completion of my truck. I called Silver Star and made an appointment, 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived I was told that the service department had a 3rd party answering service that just schedules appointments and the actual part was never ordered. I talked with Carmen who assured me she would order the part and then contact me. She also said it would take 1 to 2 weeks to get the part. After nearly 3 weeks I called Carmen and only got voice mail. I called the parts dept and was told no one had ordered the part. I then contacted Alexander GMC who ordered the part. The part arrived the next day. When I went to have the Module installed I was told that Silver Star had installed an aftermarket tracking device on my truck and it was in conflict with the new module. I again called Carmen, only got voicemail. I then contacted the GMC sales manager only voicemail. No one ever returns calls I guess unless you wish to purchase a new vehicle. I have contacted GM and I am hopeful that someone will actually act on this. The service department at Silver Star is non responsive and I am not holding any hope of getting this issue resolved anytime soon. More
It seems like customer service doesn't matter anymore. It's rare to interact with anyone who is as caring and knowledgeable as Carmen. She truly is the best! I've seen her interact with her employee's and I've been a customer of hers for many years. She's moved around a bit, but I've followed her because she is THAT good! Thank you Carmen for all you do and caring for all the people you interact with, you are such a gem! I'm giving 4 stars for customer service because Carmen has a little work to do with her employees, but she'll get it done. More
the dealership service department went from first rate to Beyond HORRIBLE customer service . 1. took way too long to have vehicle seen. diagnosed and no communications from the service rep . 2. part not orde Beyond HORRIBLE customer service . 1. took way too long to have vehicle seen. diagnosed and no communications from the service rep . 2. part not ordered when it was diagnosed . 3. once the part was ordered 3 weeks later took another 4 days until it was installed . 4. to replace the sliding door outside handle should have taken 1.5-2 hrs maximum it took 7 hours and i had an appointment there at 9:30 am showed up early . 5. the grand finally they overcharged my credit card when I had only to pay a deductible of $100 . after calling demanding they refund again no response Still waiting for a response but have contacted my credit card to dispute the charge .
