I had been searching for a car for months after unexpectedly having my car totaled by a drunk driver. Needless to say from the start I was not too happy about needing a new vehicle. After dealing unexpectedly having my car totaled by a drunk driver. Needless to say from the start I was not too happy about needing a new vehicle. After dealing with a number of salesman at a number of dealerships I met Gonzalo Morales. Gonzalo was a nice change to the pushy-ness and slyness I was encountering with other salesmen. When buying a car you want to feel comfortable and come to your decisions on your own and Gonzalo allowed me to do that. We talked more about non-car stuff on the test drive and not once did I feel I was being smothered. Gonzalo was by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. Overall my experiences at Sutton Ford were fantastic! They were able to negotiate price and get me into my new used car with an excellent deal. If you are looking to buy a new car and are worried about being bullied or pressured into something you don't want, look no further, Gonzalo Morales at Sutton Ford is the man you need to see! Thank you again Gonzalo, I appreciate your help and all you were able to do for me. More
The sales people here are very well trained into using misleading language, they are very proficient in structuring deals to add costs and fees onto your contract that are not necessary, they are very goo misleading language, they are very proficient in structuring deals to add costs and fees onto your contract that are not necessary, they are very good at promising things that can't be delivered. They are very friendly when you walk in the door, but I really should have researched other dealerships before I signed with them. The first time they lied to me I should have left, but I didn't, I trusted what was being told to me and felt like they were giving me a good deal, but absolutely not. Two things to look for in your contract vin etchng (disguised as theft deterrent) and auto butler...which should be 2 optional purchases. (I believe another reviewer mentioned the vin etching as well). All I can say is that I have been very well educated on what to do then next time I purchase a car-and when I do purchase a car it will definitely not be with them. I feel like I am being bullied into doing business with them currently and that is a horrible way to feel when buying a car. More
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!! We bought a mini van DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!! We bought a mini van from this dealer back in 3/2011. It was late at night when we finally took the van home and n DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!! We bought a mini van from this dealer back in 3/2011. It was late at night when we finally took the van home and noticed there was a message of all wheel drive disabled. Immediately the next morning we called the dealer to get this taken care of and were told to wait till the warranty kicks in and they will cover the co-pay (we were never told we had a copay). My husband being nice waited and called back once the warranty kicked in and left a message for the man we were working with. Well, we would call and everyone would avoid us and never call us back! My husband then brought the van in so nobody can avoid us! They told is they have a new manager and they have to have approval before they will take care of us. Once again said Manager was not in and will call us back. Well needless to say once again we left several messages and nobody would get back to us. Finally almost a year later we were told they will look at the van since the alternator was now bad. We brought the van in and they REFUSE to fix the all wheel drive!!! The service department said it was not under warranty! We also had to pay this co-pay, $100 per issue, that we were never made aware of! This dealership has to be the worst I have ever dealt with!! They supposedly fixed the alternator yet we are still having electrical problems and they want us to pay the $100 again for the same problem! I told the dealer when we brought the van back in January if the problem wasn't resolved I would be contacting BBB. The sales man said to contact the "manager" well it has been 6 months and once again nobody wants to return our calls and the service department will not fix the problem that should have been fixed in January! My wife found the car she wanted and I stopped in to purchase the vehicle. Our sales person was extremely nice and we reached an agreement on price. In writing. Final price. when the paperwork arrives t purchase the vehicle. Our sales person was extremely nice and we reached an agreement on price. In writing. Final price. when the paperwork arrives they have added several thousand dollars more for a car wash package and vin etching. I had written a check - which they had - but I refused to sign anything since the price was not the one we had agreed on. I went to talk to the Sales Manager Frank Pizzirulli and he instantly blamed the sales person and than would not honor the price agreed upon. At this point I said forget about the deal and now just give me back my downpayment. This became a huge fiasco with them saying that I had to wait for several days to clear and I said clear what? You have not sold me anything - just give the check back. They continued saying that it had already been deposited and that it would need to clear before they could give it to me. I just blew up. Clear? Clear what they had not given me anything. After an hour I finally got my check and left. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Go to any other dealership. More
These people are just plain awful. I went in to buy a brand new car for my first time with my dad and they didn't have the one wanted. They promised me that they were able to get 3 of the exact one that brand new car for my first time with my dad and they didn't have the one wanted. They promised me that they were able to get 3 of the exact one that I wanted by the next day, but I had to put a down payment on 1 of them. They took my $2000, and I called the next day to get the vin number of the car for insurance and they said they had bad news... all of the cars I wanted were already sold!!!!! Wow. Then they held my money hostage for a few days hoping I would change my mind and buy a shitty car that I didn't want at all. They told me my check needed several days to clear and then when it does, they will refund me. I waited a few days and the check was finally clear by friday morning. I called so I could have them prepare the check for me and I could pick it up after work, AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW? There is nobody in the office on Friday that can cut you that check.. you have to wait til MONDAY! Are you serious???? I sold my car a week ago and need to buy one ASAP. They said in the nicest voice "we are open all day monday til 9pm, please come in and we will be happy to give you your money back!!" yeah right, ass holes. We'll see when and if that happens. More
We bought a car advertised as accident free. Once we agreed on the price, they bring in the paperwork to sign, which lists a "Vin Etch" for $200. I wasn't interested in this so I told them to take it of agreed on the price, they bring in the paperwork to sign, which lists a "Vin Etch" for $200. I wasn't interested in this so I told them to take it off. They said it had to be there and was on all there cars because the finance companies the use require it...what BS! Once I got that off there, the finance guy tried slipping in an extended warranty. Just before I signed the paperwork I noticed "ESP" on the contract for $2000! When I questioned it, he said it was a mistake that the computer put in there. Yeah, ok whatever...***. So we finally escape with the car and over the next few days we notice a few squeaks and rattles. So I took it to a collision center when we find out it's been in an accident and needs over $1000 in work! So I took the car over to the dealership and explain the situation and ask them to buy the car back since it was advertised as being accident free. The guy in the sales tower starts laughing and says there's no way they are buying it back. Now I'm really ticked! So after some heated words, they offer to put us in another car. The cars they showed us were worth a few thousand dollars less than the one we have. Then they show us cars worth the same as ours, but tell us they will cost $3-4k more. All of them had "issues". Then they tell us they could take the car back from us, but they could only give us black book value and we'd have to pay the $3000 difference in cash to them. Then they say we can walk away if we sign over our $7k car to them. When that fails, they tell us we can trade the car in on a minivan which turns out to be $8k over book value. What a freaking joke. These guys are so slimy, stay away from Sutton Ford at all costs. These guys epitomize "used car salesman". We're handing the case over to the Attorney Generals office. More

I have given high ratings because my wife and I experienced excellent service at Sutton Ford. We had recently been dismissed from a chapter 13 bankruptcy and had been to other dealers who turned us experienced excellent service at Sutton Ford. We had recently been dismissed from a chapter 13 bankruptcy and had been to other dealers who turned us down. Andre Green and the finance staff at Sutton Ford were diligent in getting a lender who would finance us. We even met Mr. Sutton himself who came out of his office and congratulated us upon our purchase. We drove away with a wonderful pre-owned 2008 vehicle. This was the best car-buying experience in a long, long time! This is our first step into obtaining a good credit rating again and we are extremely happy about that. Thank you Mr. Sutton for putting excellent, talented people on your team. More
Working with Andre Green as a salesperson was a pure delight. His professionalism and helpfulness put us at ease with the whole car buying experience. I had a very bad experience with Hawkinson Ford bef delight. His professionalism and helpfulness put us at ease with the whole car buying experience. I had a very bad experience with Hawkinson Ford before coming to Sutton and was extremely turned off by Ford, but Mr. Green and the whole Sutton team made my car buying experience a pleasure. Marcus Ware greeted me with a very pleasant and friendly smile, once introduced by another friendly employee, Keisha. He asked me what my needs in a vehicle were and price range. He said that he would and smile, once introduced by another friendly employee, Keisha. He asked me what my needs in a vehicle were and price range. He said that he would and could help me. He showed me a vehicle that fit my needs, right there on the showroom floor and asked me about the size and price. I told him that I liked it and the size was right.. He ask me if the color was okay as it came in other colors. I felt very comfortable and confident with him. He made me feel at ease, not nervous or anything, as one would be making such a big decision as this. He explained everything in detail, what to expect, as far as paperwork and features of the vehicle as we waited for the paperwork. He took care of everything and then I realized that this man had sold me a vehicle that I had not even looked inside of nor test drove. He is truly a good salesman and an access to your company. I would highly recommend him, which I have already done, to my daughter. More
