We went to three other car dealers prior to our visit to Sutherlin Nissan-Orlando. We walked out of the first two dealerships due to unfriendly sales tactics used by their sales staff. The third used bogus vehicle advertisement to lure us to their sales lot. I understand the need for the dealerships to make as much money as possible. It is just business. The sales tactics used cost resulted in 12 hours of unpleasantness. We were on the verge ending our new car due to being physically and mentally exhausted. Our visit to Sutherlin was predicated on numerous email interactions with Sutherlin's Internet sales staff (Aaron D'Amico). After driving 150 miles to Orlando, we arrived at the new Sutherlin location and was impressed by the appearance of the new location. Mr. D'Amico was waiting for our arrival and immediately escorted us to the location (over 20 acres) where the vehicles were located. After visually inspecting the 2014 and 2013 models, we returned to discuss the purchase price. D'Amico went to extremes to provide the financial workups for each model and each year. NO SALES GAMES, NO SALES GIMMICKS. Just personable service provided without duress. Mr. D'Amico provided us with the all inclusive "true" car price. No hidden fees, add ons, or surprise dealer costs. Just the total out the door cost. Did we leave with a new car? Absolutely! Will we buy our next car from Mr. D'Amico and Sutherlin Nissan? Absolutely. Many car dealerships sell cars, but no dealership does it any better than Mr. D'Amico and Sutherlin Nissan-Orlando. I drove from Daytona Beach to visit Sutherlin Nissan, bypassing several other Nissan dealerships because of their outstanding reputation for their unbeatable prices and customer service. Sutherlin Nissan is by FAR the best dealership I have ever seen. The salesmen aren't pushy and the mood is very relaxed. They take the time to explain and demonstrate all the features and new technologies of the cars instead of just sell and move on to the next customer. The friendliness and quality of work Charlie McAllister and John Bannon provided were definitely award worthy. In my experience, I knew what model and trim package I was interested and they had the knowledge of the exact car being on the lot and within minutes I was test driving my new car. After the test drive, there was no push to buy. Charlie asked my opinion of the vehicle and it was by far one of the smoothest rides I've had. I was ready to buy and just a few moments later, I was able to negotiate a price which took no time at all - unlike every other dealership I've had dealings with. Instead of being there all day for paperwork like I'm sure most experience, within an hour or two I was signing and driving. Between the friendly staff and quality of work, the overall experience could have literally not been better. I would refer anybody looking to buy a car to give them a chance. It was well worth the drive and I recommend anyone interested in a Nissan or any used vehicle on their lot to take a drive down there! Very well done. More

I was researching a dealership for my daughter so I contacted Chris Wiseman at Sutherin Nissan with an unusual request: help me find a replacement car for my granddaughter whose car was totaled by a driver who ran a stop sign. She needed a used car that she could finance without a down payment. My daughter had agreed to co-sign for her. My granddaughter works full-time and is a full-time junior in college. She pays her bill regularly and has paid-off several cars in the past. I asked Chris Wiseman if there was some way he could help my granddaugher purchase a used car. Chris Wiseman responded promptly and said the dealership had programs for vets and others--he would help get a car for my granddaugher. I was thrilled and forwarded his e-mails to my daughter. Then I found out my daughter and granddaughter went elsewhere without even bothering to check-out all my efforts. Needless to say, I was incredibly furious--all my efforts and those of Mr. Wiseman down the tubes! I just want to say how very much I appreciated the exceptional, thoughful, and sincere way Mr. Wiseman tried to help me--and I know we would've bought a car from Sutherlin Nissan if my daughter hadn't gone off half-cocked. I just want someone to know that this is a dealership where you get fantastic care and attention to customer needs. If I lived in Orlando, this is where I'd go to buy a car! I heard great things about your dealership from Friends in Orlando and worked with Lou and Aaron to get everything in line to buy a new Frontier SV 4x2 truck with the SV Value Truck Package over 4 visit in Orlando and worked with Lou and Aaron to get everything in line to buy a new Frontier SV 4x2 truck with the SV Value Truck Package over 4 visits. I wanted the Graphite Blue and they mentioned they could get one in 48 Hours, so to be helpful I let them know that Nissan.com showed on at the Universal Nissan location in hope that help them. I let them know I did not want to go to another Nissan Location as both Lou and Aaron were so nice. Sunday I went to your beautiful new dealership and scheduled me coming out today Monday August 14 2013 as was told to come in soon to make sure they could get the truck I wanted from another dealership so I took time off of work today and met with Aaron at 9:30am who started to do Paper work. Next met his Sales manager Edgardo and everything went south. Edgardo would not honor the trade in price , had listed the incorrect USAA discount price as well as said they only could use the USAA discount if I finance with Nissan (This is not correct and has USAA asking for the name of the dealership due to improper practices) Next he did not honor selected truck that Aaron and Lou setup, he said I could not get the Truck due to was not on site. I mentioned them getting the one I want in 48 hours as I am not rushed and did not want any extra cost hitting the dealership and he let me know they did not have what I wanted in any of their dealerships. I mentioned in no rush again and could wait if needed but he was not interested. So.... your sales folks made verbal agreements and then the Sales Manager Edgardo would not honor them - the trade-in value, the USAA discount, the approved Truck as well tried to have me accept a finance rate 4 times higher then what USAA offered me. I told him I would no longer work with him and that they need better communication or training between him and his sales folks and asked to talk to his manager. I met with Laz and he seemed bothered and not interested in the issue so left it with this is what we have and that is all we can do. As I left with my USAA auto loan check in hand I called Aaron to let him know that I appreciate his time and that they need better coordination so what sale person offers a Sale manger can honor it and that if they ever get Frontier SV 4x2 truck with the SV Value Truck Package on the lot to give me a call and I would let him know if I still was interested. I let them all know I would be contacting you as well as USAA to be fair and sad to say I will either wait to buy a car or go to another Nissan dealership; as well as when my Friends ask how did it go I will be letting them know of this bad experience and who they should not deal with going forward at this location. I did send a note to Managing partner U.S. Marine and hope sharing my bad experience will help the dealership improve and let others have good experiences going forward. More

They were straight forward from the very start, showed us everything we wanted to see, and came back with their best deal right off the bat: Here's what we can offer you for your trade-in and here's what we can do on a new Altima. As a single female, I was really hesitant about buying a car on my own. Mike Eddy was the PERFECT sales associate for me. Within 5 minutes, he had me laughing and at ease. I had a wonderful experience with Elvis Wayne when I was due to return my leased car. I spent a few short hours with Elivs while he went over each and every one of my options for trading in or re-leasing a due to return my leased car. Upon only meeting Elvis for the first time, I instantly felt comfortable with him as we drove from dealership to dealership (old to new) searching for cars and it was almost as if an instant friendship was formed. Elvis literally went on a rat race trying to find exactly what I wanted and to work within my budget. Elvis has so much passion for what he does and his charisma is contagious. I felt so comfortable with him that I actually gave him a hug good-bye when I left for the evening. Elvis is such an asset to the Sutherlin Nissan Dealership team. He went above and beyond and he truly made me feel like I was his most important customer. If I’m being perfectly honest, I was a little sad to know that the transaction was over and I wouldn’t be seeing Elvis anymore. He definitely made my dealership experience that much more pleasurable.
