They advertised a ford explorer they raved about, They praised this vehicle as being like new for its age.Had only 60k miles and some change. Supposedly owned by police officer who rarely drove it. No pro praised this vehicle as being like new for its age.Had only 60k miles and some change. Supposedly owned by police officer who rarely drove it. No problems with it they said. wanted over 16k for it. They took my immaculate low mileage pickup as trade in. I needed 4x4 and the pickup was only 2wd. Anyhow it turns out that the air conditioning did not work and needed a 1500 dollar repair. They never mentioned it not once. Passsed the explorer off as having no issues.,It was winter so we only ran the heat. But now its 95 degreees and I am screwed because of their dishonesty. So be careful and do not trust these folks. They checked this vehicle out thoroughly they said. had to know the ac did not work More

THANK YOU to all of the staff at Sutherland Chevy for helping our family have the truck we’ve been wanting and needing! We appreciate all of the effort from Don Gabbard, James McAlpin, Matt Moore, and Ch helping our family have the truck we’ve been wanting and needing! We appreciate all of the effort from Don Gabbard, James McAlpin, Matt Moore, and Chuck Blankenship. You demonstrated customer service in its excellence by going above and beyond. Thank you for patiently waiting even after closing for everything to be squared away for us. We were even more impressed when Chuck helped us take the belongings out of our old truck and into the new one. I don’t think we’ve seen anyone do that in our experience when buying a vehicle. You have won our loyalty and we will be sure to recommend you to our family and friends! We didn’t feel like this was just another business transaction but about building and maintaining relationships which is the way it should be everywhere. Wishing you success! More
What a difference I was looking for a 2018 Colorado ZR2. I used my bank's car buying service and was pointed to a dealer in Frankfurt and Rod Hatfield here in Lexington I was looking for a 2018 Colorado ZR2. I used my bank's car buying service and was pointed to a dealer in Frankfurt and Rod Hatfield here in Lexington. I had hear nothing but negative feedback on that dealer but since my bank gave me a fixed price I decided to give the lady who called me a change. I showed up at Rod Hatfield and met the Lady and was immediately passed off to a standing salesman. Who them proceeded to minimize the lady and said he be right back he had to talk to his manager. He proceeded to go behind the glass and yuk it up with I assume his manager. I waited 5 to 10 minutes and walked out, blocked their phone calls and figured I was done with wanting a new truck. I had a 2015 Silverado LTZ and was getting the service done at Sutherland . The interactions were great and they had gone above and beyond to fix a few things that really didn't need to be and do it parts cost. I met with Denver and he was polite and respectful the whole time. He introduced me to the owner and aside from the finance guy Denver was the sole person I talked to. No, talking about payments, and the four square BS...just a straight deal, simple for both he and I. Its amazing what a difference in attitude and culture can make in the car buying process. Everything you read about the Lexington dealer is likely correct...I would recommend Sutherland if you don't mind a few miles... More
