I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I bought new from a dealership that was closed down by Chrysler. I only had 17,000 miles on the car and my check engine light came on. I called my former dealer and they recommended I contact a Jeep dealer because it would be warranty work. Since it was the week before Christmas I thought it would be difficult to get my car looked at. There are 2 dealers in the York PA area. I called the first dealership and the lady that answered seemed to be overwhelmed and almost rude stating that there is no way she could get my car in even if I waited for it she didn't know how long I would wait. So I called Susquehanna. I knew as soon as the phone was answered that this was going to be a good experience. The service advisor took my name, address and phone number and asured me that they could help. In fact he got me in the next day a 1:00pm. I arrived early, and was greated professionally, I was offered coffee and shown a choice of waiting areas. While I waited for the repairs they kept me informed of what they found (sensor failure) and what they are doing to fix it. When the job was completed I was once again treated professionally and thanked for my business. I told them they earned a new customer! The dealership is clean and is run like a customer would want. I highly recommend this dealership for service. More
I've dealt with another "local" Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership in York and there is just no comparison to Susquehanna Dodge. Everyone my wife and I dealt with was absolutely wonderful. I run a small construction company and need my trucks to be on the road everyday and when my 2005 Dodge started having transmission problems I took it over and Collin was so nice he got my truck in the next be on the road everyday and when my 2005 Dodge started having transmission problems I took it over and Collin was so nice he got my truck in the next morning.There mechanic ran it through all the tests and found out that 2ed gear was gone, Collin got on the phone with me and clearly went over all my options and costs then was able to find the only transmission in the state and have it put in within 24 hrs, so I could get my truck back up and running. I also had Larry Roach in commercial sales look at my truck and try to find a new truck to replace my existing one but even though he was able to find one and get all my financing set up instead of pushing me into a new one he helped me think clear and just repair mine. I think in this tough economy its nice that when you take your vehicle to a garage that they give you options and costs up front so that you can make a smart choice and not be blindsided when you go to pick it up.
