Robert, the items you mention are indeed options at almost every dealership and are designed to help extend the life and value of your vehicle. Some are cosmetic but many can help extend the life of your vehicle. Door guards help protect the edges of your doors from nicks and scratches. Nitrogen in your tires helps tire pressure remain more stable over the long term and exhibit less pressure change with temperature swings. The paint guard is a polymer based application that resists UV rays which can lead to paint fading/dulling. It also protects your paint against everything from the acidity, calcium and even metals that are found in tap water when washing your vehicle or from a car wash. But as you mentioned…these are options and vehicles can be purchased without them. We offer these to help extend the life and value of your vehicle. We apologize if our team didn’t fully explain all of the benefits of these items. If you have any additional questions or if there is anything else we can do, please contact our General Sales Manager, Matt Sisson, at 623-666-8577.

Joy, please know that great customer service is ALWAYS our goal and it sounds as though our team did not deliver on that and you have our apologies. Our goal is to connect customers with their dream vehicles each and every day. We will always go the extra mile to make it happen but unfortunately the final decision is ultimately up to the banks no matter how hard we try. We certainly understand how frustrating that can be to everyone involved. If there are any questions we can answer or any way we can be of assistance please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Relations Manager, Anne Monroe, at 623-666-8577. Thank you.

Please know that delivering great customer service is always our goal and we’re sorry to hear that you feel we did not deliver that. When you arrived in our service department several days after purchasing your vehicle with a mirror issue we also believe it could be a possible defect which would fall under a warranty claim. When that happens we are required to submit your claim to Ford to try and have them confirm and address the issue and as you may expect, this takes time. As soon as we heard back we notified you that Ford declined the claim stating that there are no known defects. They also stated that something could have applied pressure or bumped into the mirror to cause the internal piece to break. We apologize that it took so long to get an answer but the matter was out of our hands. We understand how frustrating this is and we have done all we can with Ford to try and remedy the situation to no avail. If you have any additional questions please reach out to our Customer Relations Manager, Anne Monroe, at 623-666-8577.

This response from the dealership is completely inaccurate. I have spoken with the Ford Motor Company's warranty department on several occasions and have been assured our claim has NOT been denied by them. They are waiting on the service manager from Surprise Ford to complete the paperwork sent to them to validate the claim. This claim has been open for over 8 weeks. We were told by the service department less than a week after purchasing this vehicle that unfortunately some vehicles come with a manufacturer's defect and they would absolutely handle it for us. They also told us at one point that they had actually ordered the mirror in addition to already receiving a piece of door trim for an additional defect on a brand new vehicle. That piece of door trim was not installed when I drove 45 minutes to the dealership for my SECOND fruitless appointment to deal with this issue. We have left repeated messages for the service manager, the non-existent general manager and Anne Monroe, the customer relations manager who responded to this review. Buyer beware! This is the worst car buying experience we've ever had and I cannot caution you strongly enough to avoid purchasing a vehicle from his dealership. We are still dealing directly with Ford Motor Company on this issue and the warranty claim is still open despite this dealership telling us Ford has refused to pay for the warranty repair.
