The reverse gear on my Dodge Nitro had stopped working and was towed from the original dealership to Dodge Suresky. I soon received a phone call from the service department that tried to charge me fo and was towed from the original dealership to Dodge Suresky. I soon received a phone call from the service department that tried to charge me for parts their technicians might break while removing, miscellaneous labor charges, a brake switch light (which was fine before they had it) and transmission flushing (which is covered by my warranty). Warranty covered $2,700, while my deductible, as expected was $250. Marco (service advisor), told me I was responsible for $680.00 in additional fees. After telling him to not work on the car until I spoke to my warranty company, he leaves a voice mail a half hour later explaining that the parts they had to break to get to my transmission, did not break. This brought my payment down to $540. The service advisor stated that I should be happy they were covering $2,700. I replied with, 'that is why I paid an additional $2,000 when I bought the car.' These are services I paid for. In person, I asked for copies and an itemized pricing list for all services. When I questioned Marco about my brake lamp switch (which controls all of the brake lights, reverse lights etc.) he deflected, saying I should take it up with Mazda, where I bought the car. I spoke with my warranty company earlier that day, explaining the conflict in payment arrangements. After receiving the copies I had asked for, Marco assured me that he could get some of the fees "waived". I picked up my car on Wednesday and paid only my deductible. The following Saturday, I heard a clanking noise in my engine, I immediately lost power under the gas pedal and my first thought was, transmission! I made it to a parking lot, shut the car off and tried to turn it back on. The lights came on and a clicking sound ensued. I contacted Suresky, who shuffled me around 3 or 4 times before reaching a manager and demanded a tow. 1 1/2 hours into rebuilt transmission (which cost $3,000), an "unexplainable internal malfunction" that caused the starter to fail, as stated by Marco Sanchez and Doug Dulgarian. Unexplainable internal malfunction...? I would have never contacted Suresky again, if I did not know they were 100% responsible for the careless repair on my transmission. My vehicle has high mileage (which Doug, the service manager, clung to for dear life in repetition) but there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my starter before. They needed to remove it to get to the tranny, which when questioned, as I played stupid, Doug stated, "No, the starter stays in the engine." Suresky would have rated a negative number because of bad service, patronizing the customers and basically not being responsible for the vehicles or service they provide. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Department of Motor Vehicles and am currently in process of serving them with a summons for small claims court. I am only looking for my deductible, tow fee, and court costs as compensation- a fair trade at the least. More
Recently found myself very interested in a new wrangler. After some research i settled that i want a new 2012 because of the new engine. I visited tye dealership multiple times and came in contact with jaso After some research i settled that i want a new 2012 because of the new engine. I visited tye dealership multiple times and came in contact with jason m. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and was able to answer my questions. He showed me how a current model wrangler would benefit me but in the end didnt try to force me into something i didnt want. Almost had me in with zero percent but the new engine and transmission for me was really the selling point for my new toy. Look forward to taking delivery in the next month or two! Will update when i get ky new car! More
I was told this dealership is the best place to go when it comes to price, package deals, and customer service. Sadly none of the above is true. Prices are ridiculous, the customer service was even worse. it comes to price, package deals, and customer service. Sadly none of the above is true. Prices are ridiculous, the customer service was even worse. The salesman I dealt with, Jason Madison, was not only a disgustingly disorganized person to look at, but his attitude was uncalled for. I overheard him making dirty jokes and even making fun of previous customers. When I asked him questions about the cars I was interested in, he was impatient and at one point he told me I may be better off buying from a used car lot, not an actual dealership. Also, this salesman tried to hand me off to another salesman and still tried to get a percentage of the deal. I made sure to tell the general manager that I was so disgusted with the treatment I got from Jason Madison, that I would not buy a car whatsoever if Mr. Madison was going to make money on my car purchase. He overheard me and he then went on to whisper things to coworkers behind my back about me I'm sure. I wound up not buying anything because I just got the feeling most people running that place weren't much better than Jason Madison. I hope he gets fired for his horrible work. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from JASON MADISON! More
I took advantage of the cash for clunkers deal and traded in a 1997 Explorer. What a deal I got! I think I paid $9,400 for a brand new Hyundai Elantra! Can't ask for a better deal than that...$4500 for my in a 1997 Explorer. What a deal I got! I think I paid $9,400 for a brand new Hyundai Elantra! Can't ask for a better deal than that...$4500 for my truck, $2000 from Hyundai and $2000 from the dealer...total no-brainer! They were very busy there (clunker sale) but very professional. Honored rate and made deal happen. I am very pleased with the overall transaction and would recommend them to all. Big inventory and professional staff...not pushy salesman that you often run into. Very nice experience! More
I came in to this dealer to cancel my newly purchased extended warranty, which is fully refundable in the first 60 days of the contract. From the beginning of the conversation the salesman that i deal extended warranty, which is fully refundable in the first 60 days of the contract. From the beginning of the conversation the salesman that i dealt with (Victor) was not very friendly. It was clear that my business was the least of his concern and he had no desire to help me. I was asked for the paperwork, then they told me that they cannot cancel the contract without seeing the vehicle first. I dont know why they need to see the physical paperwork or the vehicle - all i wanted to do was close the contract that was never used or had any claims on it. When i came back with the vehicle, Victor wouldnt even come to see me, he kept sitting in his cube upstairs. I was told he was dealing with a customer and it would be another 45 minutes before he could see me. He was in his cube alone and not on the phone. A blatant lie. Speaking to the manager resulted in the same thing, he didnt even ask me who i was there to see or for what reason. I would not recommend this dealer. More
