Ripped off! I went in for a simple reset of a system and was provided with one of the oldest rip offs in the book. I needed a new gas cap and minor adjustments to reset the warning light. I had done my homework and been assured of the possibility of the ease of a solution to a minor problem. I truly wanted to trust that the SS Lexus service consultant (that treated me with respect during my first visit would continue to do so). Unfortunately, I was at the dealership from 0830 until approximately 1600. I eventually was charged nearly $1000, and provided a laundry list of problems. It is sad to see an organization exhibit bad business practices, especially during a high holy week. Regrettably, I must warn others so that such behavior can be diminished in the future. So I have visited this dealership on 3 occasions, all for the same problem with my Lexus, On all 3 occasions they have failed to determine the problem. But that has not stopped them from asserting what they the same problem with my Lexus, On all 3 occasions they have failed to determine the problem. But that has not stopped them from asserting what they think is wrong, and that I should replace this or that, So after replacing 3 major items totaling thousands of dollars in unneeded repairs. All they can offer is having a new technician look at my car...of course they will have to charge me for multiple hours of diagnostic work so the new technician can recheck the other technicians work. After I complained bitterly, the only response was that they are a business and need to make money. More
I have come to the dealership for oil changes and will continue to pay the higher price because I am treated so well.
