I would say that I achieved my overall objective, which was to trade in a vehicle which I was upside down. Oz was really good about obtaining a reasonable arrangement from Capital One, given that I was was to trade in a vehicle which I was upside down. Oz was really good about obtaining a reasonable arrangement from Capital One, given that I was "credit challenged". I even further complicated the matter by having recently refinanced my vehicle, and so I did not have the title to the vehicle that I traded in at the time of purchase. One issue of concern is that Oz (probably inadvertently) “double-charged” me for the down payment. I initially paid with a card, but the machine malfunctioned, so I wrote a check, which eventually cleared. But it turns out that the card transaction actually went through. There was no problem with getting my bank to reverse the charge. I would be ok with returning to Suntrup Autogroup for future endeavors. I actually purchased a vehicle from Suntrup Buick-GMC in 2012, and it was a good vehicle. However, the Finance Mgr. was a real jerk (Sean Stanford). I wish that I would have requested another Finance Manager for my purchase with Suntrup Nissan. Oz did a good job with everything, but he was more aggressive than I would have been comfortable with.
