It was the fifth morning in the month of March in the year 2020 of our good Lord. The ides not ten days nigh. I woke with the sun, as is common in my behaviour. I smashed my java beans, brewed my coffee black and set forth on my quest to conquer the day. As I wandered out to my noble steed, a 2009 Acura TSX I christened "Veruca Salt" after the lovely shade of blue she dons when the sun hits her just right, I noticed things were amiss. Her oil was low. "Oil daddy! I want it now! I don't care how, I want it now!" she screamed at me... "Anything for my lovely little brute" I replied eagerly, fearful of her wrath. Thus, I journeyed to Suntrup Kia through the lands of Mordor to retrieve my Synthetic goodness. Whence I arrived at Mt. DOOM, I expected a host of pushy salesmen and service desk technicians wearing the white hand of Sauraman. Is this what greeted me? Nay, twas but a generous man, a great man. One whom called himself Sir Brian Richter. He diagnosed my problem immediately with a smile upon his countenance. He promised me he would treat Veruca gently, as if she were his own. I knew my girl was in good hands. I retired to the common room where fancy popcorn and 6 hour old coffee awaited me. In my wait, I had an opportunity to gaze upon other steeds... valiant race horses all, but none as elegant or loyal as my blueberry. Twas not but 40 minutes before Lord Richter escorted me to my girl, oiled up and ready to go. A wonderful journey to be sure, and a welcome one. Thank you King Brian, your service was unlike any other I have experienced. I look forward to seeing you again. More

Poor customer service, Misinformation! Today I visited Suntrup Kia South for MY first oil change on my 2018 Kia Optima since I have gotten the car. Purchased 11/3/2019. So only a little ove Today I visited Suntrup Kia South for MY first oil change on my 2018 Kia Optima since I have gotten the car. Purchased 11/3/2019. So only a little over two months, granted I drive around 80 miles a day or more for work. So the oil change came quicker than expected. I dropped my car off in the service department and went inside to sign on whatever, and I believe it was Bryan who told me they voided my Lifetime power train Warranty because i was 1700 miles over. Then told me its no big deal because they throw it in with the car its not like I paid for it. Well if its a warranty I paid for it, we all do whether its listed as something I pay for or thrown into the cars price. You don't have time and money to add this to everyone's car for free, so the money is coming from somewhere. The workers building the cars in South Korea are sometimes making as little as $13 an hour to build these cars, so there is definitely a huge markup for sales in the US so the money for that warranty is definitely coming out of my pocket one way or another. Anyways The MY UVO App (the app for these kia cars similar to things like the Chevy app, which shows all of your Vehicle information , maintenance, mileage, trip info, etc. . And this app shows that my next oil change was at 30K miles (I got the car used at 24XXX Miles) So I was at 29700 miles I scheduled an oil change. I talked to Bryan (i believe) and he said that was just my next milestone not my next service after purchase. I asked him how I was supposed to know that and he told me that it was in the information I got at purchase. Well I never got any information at purchase because we bought the car on a Saturday got there around 4 or so and didn't get out of there until 7 which was when they closed so they said they would mail us the paperwork. We never got any paperwork in the mail, and after several attempts at emails and phone calls still nothing and it was kind of forgotten about. They wouldn't even top off my coolant, because it was covered under the lifetime power train and told me I would have to pay $5 for them to fill it. I said no because I can do this by myself for $5 and still have coolant left over in a jug after topping off my car. So I am very unsatisfied with my service, customer service, and the overall communication and forgetfulness of Suntrup. 0 Stars across the board and honestly don't know that I would buy another car from here. Seems this dealer is all over the place. UPDATE: Elliot Silk got in contact with me and my mother who's name is on the car and cleared up the situation. My Power Train warranty is still intact, really don't know why I was told otherwise. First thing I was told was that it was voided, but Elliot said it was never voided so that situation was fixed. I was told the $5 up-charge would have been for Synthetic Oil instead of conventional, and I do remember him telling me that, but I could of sworn he said the same to fill up my coolant if it needed to be filled, maybe I misheard. All is good thanks to Elliot, I guess there was quite a bit of a misunderstanding/misinterpretation/misinformation. Still waiting on the paperwork at signing for the car. But this situation was resolved, sorry not trying to be a pain but I knew something was not right, and this being my first Service with Suntrup Kia I did not have a very pleasant experience. I will post more reviews each time I go up to the Dealership and keep everyone informed on how everything goes! Thank you Elliot for clearing everything up! More
