Deceived During our negotiations for our car with Trevor(sales) - Trevor added a years worth of oil changes and car washes - it was 3-4 oil changes complimenta During our negotiations for our car with Trevor(sales) - Trevor added a years worth of oil changes and car washes - it was 3-4 oil changes complimentary(free), as long as we bring the car into his dealership. We were hesitant but after Trevor confirmed with his boss Jake Belcher, that he could offer us the oil change deal, we accepted. Trevor, even put it in writing that it was approved by his manager Jake Belcher(I still have these notes from Trevor). About a month after we bought the car, it was ready for it's first oil change - I set up the appointment. I called Trevor several times, without any call back and texted him without any response - letting him know my wife was bringing the car in for our complimentary oil change. Since I never heard from Trevor - I reached out to Caleb - he was unaware of my deal and suggested I talk to Trevor or Jake, the manager. After speaking with Jake (and after several emails with him) - he was unwilling to even look at the notes from his employee on the years' worth of oil changes. According to Jake, Trevor did not talk to him about this. Even with proof, from their employee, our complimentary oil changes are not honored. In my opinion, their business practices are not "customer first" as they claim to be. Shame on me for believing their employee that my deal included complimentary oil changes for a year. If a potential car buyer is reading this - be cautious even when you have things in writing - they aren't always honored. More

I understand things can be over looked but once I told them my problem they ignored what I thought it was and just replaced a fan which took them two days to do. As soon as I got the truck back I had noticed a scratch on the rear passenger side once I got home. I didn’t take it back because they would have then blamed me. I took my truck to another shop told them my worries they looked at my water pump and had it replaced the same day. I will not be going back for service or sales! More

Service that goes above and beyond I'm a Wisconsinite and was recently visiting family in St. Louis. The first thing I did upon arriving in the city was take my 2019 Hyundai to a drive I'm a Wisconsinite and was recently visiting family in St. Louis. The first thing I did upon arriving in the city was take my 2019 Hyundai to a drive-through car wash (to remove all of that icky Wisconsin salt). Well, the mechanism on the car wash must've caught on the bracket that was holding the electrical wiring for my towing package because the clamp came loose. I immediately took it to Suntrup Hyundai where a new clamp was installed at no charge. I thanked Sean Massey, the service advisor, and then mentioned that the Wisconsin dealership where I had purchased the vehicle had not been able to assist me with getting the voice command feature to work and had determined - after a couple hours in the service department - that even though I had the Android Auto app on my Motorola smartphone, it wouldn't connect to the car due to limitations on my phone. I was wondering if Sean had also run into that problem with certain phones. He was unaware of the problem but introduced me to Jon Feraro, explaining that Jon was a tech whiz who would likely be able to help. Not only was Jon able to get the Android Auto app to work with my vehicle, he also took the time to make sure that I understood how to use it to its full advantage. Especially considering that I'm from out of town, and was at the dealership for a totally different issue, this level of service totally went above and beyond what I would ever have expected. I have owed the SUV for a year each time I try to make an appointment for service I end up taking to a different service advisor. It is very difficult to get an appointment for service even an oil change. For this reason I will be using a different Hyundai deal for my next purchase. More

Service Went to drop off my car on 1/29/19 for service on 1/30/19 pulled in the drive with one customer in there had 4 service employees 1 on phone 2nd one Went to drop off my car on 1/29/19 for service on 1/30/19 pulled in the drive with one customer in there had 4 service employees 1 on phone 2nd one was helping a customer 3rd one just talking with a employees as he was on the Desktop putting in some info i guess . The 4th on just setting at a desk by the exit door at one point no one on phone no help then phone rings 2 of the employees get on phone . So i go out side to my ride to let them know what is going on then a employees comes out the door to help me . Well to late i'm pissed i told him just open the door he ask if i had a appointment . so now i will have to drive To Dean Team Hyundai in Ballwin for service 18 miles not happy More

Mostly work with Tim, however, if he is busy with other customers, I have worked with other technicians. Everyone is very friendly, professional and efficient. Even when just coming in for an oil change, they take the time to check for any other problems that I may not even be aware of. Tim always explains the work that was done on the car and when I leave the shop I feel confident the car is in tip-top shape. I also enjoy a bag of fresh popcorn while waiting for the work to be done. More

Next thing you know I’m talking and test driving a new 19 Santa Fe. Then Mike and Joey start helping and I leave with a brand new car. I recommend you go in and see Tim and look around. Might be in a new car. 😉 More
Stay clear. Ever since I purchased my 2014 Santa Fe at this location I continually refereed sales and service to Suntrup Hyundai in south county. I know I always paid a little more for oil changes and some basic maintenance but I always felt good about the people I was dealing with and they always had a smile on their face. I trusted what they recommended and was very happy. I later realized that I put way too much trust in these folks over at Suntrup, especially those in their service department. When it came to needing service they were quick to blame and not honor their 100,000 mile warranty they pride themselves on. All I can say is be careful and mindful of what they tell you. I recommend getting a second opinion before you purchase or service anything at Suntrup. I was once fooled in believing that I could not find a better place to deal with. I will personally be calling all of my friends and family that I recommended Suntrup Hyundai to and personally apologizing. More
