I don't like to rate a dealer until several months have past. Right around the New Year, we were in the market for a minivan or SUV and trusted this dealership because our other car is a Hyundai Sonata. past. Hyundai did not have the right model for us but they gave us expert advice on what would accommodate our large family size and travel needs. We settled on a 2009 Kia Sedona. They had 2 on the lot so we had a choice. It was a beautiful clean new-smelling car and were just as proud of it as a new car. 21000 miles on it. It is running very well. Service after the sale has been great. And you know what? they honored their advertised trade-in special to the 'T' and as a result we got a great deal. More

I'm a loyal Hyundai customer -- I had a 2002 Sonata and knew my next new car would be a Sonata, too. I started looking at the 2010's about 7 months ago and dropped an email to Tony Schuman. He replied very quickly with the information I requested. I was nearly ready to go into the dealership and meet with Tony when I learned that the 2011 Sonatas were headed for the showroom in February. The pictures looked amazing, so I HAD to have one! Tony was very patient, understanding and helpful throughout the "wait," responding to my emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. Finally, Suntrup had the 2011 Sonatas in stock, so we headed in to take a look and to meet Tony in person. He gave us his full attention and was very easy to talk to. And the car is gorgeous -- what an engineering feat Hyundai accomplished. The test drive sold us and Tony was very knowledgeable about the features and how they worked. The negotiations went well -- Suntrup even came down an additional $1K in good faith after there was some confusion about the bottom line price. Suntrup didn't have the color I wanted, so Tony immediately arranged for a trade with another dealership and said it would arrive the next day! Wow! Tony and Mike stayed late that night to finish up the financing. 2.9% interest sweetened the deal even more. On our second visit, Lisa Sachs completed all the paperwork very efficiently and completely. She made sure we understood everything, gave us honest advice and was a delight to deal with. I picked up my beautiful Phantom Black Sonata Limited two days later and I'm in love with it. It gets lots of second glances and complete strangers tell me how nice it looks. My husband and I have been thinking about buying a (used) car for some time now. We headed out on a Sunday afternoon so that we wouldn't be pressured by any salespeople. We visited many auto lots and had stopped at Suntrup on Lindbergh. We did like the used Sonatas, and I had every intention of checking on them. The part I dreaded most was even dealing with a salesperson. Some of our past experiences left a really bad taste in my mouth. I went to the website and just "looked". Within an hour I had an email from Tony Schumann. I guess I got the ball rolling on this. I spoke with Tony on the phone to set up an appointment. When we got to the dealership, it was booming with business. (That was a good sign.) When we met Tony, he was as nice in person, as he was over the phone. He showed us around the lot. I felt no pressure at all. We looked at the new. We test drove. All the while, Tony being as nice, courteous and friendly as ever. To make a long story short...they gave us a deal on a new car that we couldn't refuse. No pressure. Everything went smooth. Tony Schumann is now my new BFF! More

Kevin was very easy to work with and we didn't feel pressured like past car buying experiences with other dealers. We liked them so much, we bought two brand new cars in two days. The only critique I would have is that the advertisements for rebates and incentives is very misleading, although this is common with most car dealerships. More

Our experience with Suntrup Hyundai, Tony Schumann in particular, began on an extremely positive note. As a background, my wife and I had visited another Hyundai in West County St. Louis (D.T.) to t particular, began on an extremely positive note. As a background, my wife and I had visited another Hyundai in West County St. Louis (D.T.) to test drive a genesis coupe and a Santa Fe, and had an awful expierence (we were promised an extremely good price, and after 9 hours, got a price nearly 300 more per month than originally quoted). Fast forward a few weeks, and I filled out a simple "I'm interested" form on the Suntrup website, not thinking anything of it, not expecting a response. Tony responded within 10 Minutes with a follow up email. From the beginning Tony was interested in helping me, and perhaps my wife get a new car. Tony and I spent quite a while on the phone, and from the start of the call was nothing but honest. So we set up a time to visit the dealership later in the week. We were greeted right away by Tony, and began he process of allowing us to test drive. The entire time he was courteous, knowlegable and very friendly. We sat down to begin negotiations, which were extremely smooth. Tony was very upfront about pricing and trade in's and any available rebates. We agreed on a great price (which easily beat the previous offer from another dealership), and the deal was done. Once the deal was complete, we were so impressed, we began the process of starting a new deal on a Santa Fe for my wife. All of the points previously mentioned with regards to the Genesis were relevant to the deal with the Santa Fe. Tony and Greg (the Sales Manager) stayed late to get the deal done and get us on the road with two brand new Hundai's. Tony was even courteous enough to call while we were driving home to make sure we got home safe, as the snow had begun to fall significantly. Overall, our experience was fantastic. From the deal, to the customer service, to the cars themselves, my wife and I cannot be happier. We never felt pressured into making a decision, and it was clear that the focus was on customer service, making us happy, not just moving veihicles off the lot. When we returned the following day to drop off the wife's trade in, the customer service and courtesy continued. The entire process was efficient, painless and enjoyable. I highly reccommend Tony and thank him for his help making this process as painless as possible. Thanks also to Greg and everyone at the dealership who were more than friendly, genuine and made this process fantastic.
