Most people take the service aspect of the dealership for granted. You need work, you get it done. I want to compliment one of Suntrup's service advisors, Mr. David Bible. He is not just a face taking your appointment. Dave knows cars inside and out. I trust in his advice as he really cares. What I like about Dave is that he is a no nonsense guy. Thats not to say he isn't friendly, because he is. He can swap stories with the best of us. What I mean is that is he is not one of those over zealous salesman types that tell you you need a "johnson rod" or a cabin filter when you don't. He doesn't talk over your head where you can't understand him. Dave explains what the technician found and what he did. He will tell you what you can hold off on and what you need to do now. No pressure. I have never written a review before, but I am so impressed by Dave that I want the Suntrup's to know what asset they have in him. I will also pass kudos about Dave to the service manager. It's like when you eat out and your server is so good that you want to give them recognition somehow. You want them to be rewarded for their service. That is how I feel here. In closing, we are a four Hyundai family and I am in the dealership quite a bit. Wow. All I can say is wow. Amazing experience. I have needed a new car for awhile now and continually put it off because of the money, my credit issues, hassle, or a handful of other excuses I told mysel needed a new car for awhile now and continually put it off because of the money, my credit issues, hassle, or a handful of other excuses I told myself to just keep my clunker. When I finally broke down and said it's time to get a car I shopped around a few dealers. A few were less than eager to help me because of several reasons. The ones that did usually worked in the stereotypical bad car salesmen ways of lying or trying to extract every last penny they could from me. Except Suntrup Hyundai. A few of my family members have purchased through there and had great experiences and my mother-in-law especially recommended going there. The dealership was about 30 miles away so I was at first a little reluctant but decided to give them a chance. I'm glad I did so. Our Salesman Matt Saller should be a model for which Car Dealers are built on. Extremely Honest, Courteous, Prompt, Helpful, you name it. Matt went out of his way to help get me into a new car. He helped us find just the right one for my family and I and went great lengths to get me the best possible financing for my car. Financing also went well. In the past when we've gotten my wife cars at other dealerships it took hours of sitting with someone while they went over papers and offered (pressured) me lots of optional add-ons. We were with the financing people for maybe 10 minutes tops. My overall experience with the dealership thus far personally makes me wish that I had come sooner. I would gladly recommend them to anyone. More
