On a scale of 1-10, Tony Schumann is a 15! He is very professional in his approach. His product knowledge is just incredible. It's hard to mix business with personal. The day I bought my Elantra everything seemed perfect. Everyone that crossed my path smiled and was truly friendly. I did deal with a finance person named Jimmy who mainly spoke with my husband on the phone. Jimmy offered an extended warranty and agreed with my husband for us to pay $1,100 instead of $1,200 which is what was charged. I called him a few days after we received our information from Suntrup stating the $1,200 and was told we would get reimbursed the $100. We never heard from Jimmy and did not receive the $100 either. I came to get an oil change on 6-25-12 and spoke with Tony and Fred about the situation. Tony stated he was going to reimburse the $100. I would also like to mention my experience getting my first oil change kept me waiting for at least and hour in twenty minutes. I feel it is necessary to inform people how long it will take for the oil change especially if they are to sit and wait. When I went to check out they had me listed to pay. That really upset me because the appointment was initially set up by Tony who also informed me it was free under the Magic program and I was told to pay around $33.00. You would think someone would have asked me or it was recorded when the initial appointment was made. To me that is not customer service. When a person is pulled up in the system, and it doesn't matter if your scheduling a doctors appointment or an oil change they should be asking so many questions. After they figured out I was on the Magic program it seemed to bother Joe in maintenance to have to fix the problem because I heard a big frustrating grunt which made me feel I was bothering him after I waited that long to get a simple oil change. I am truly sorry for venting but if I treated my patients at work in these specific ways our patients would go somewhere else for treatment. More

I had been looking for two weeks when I finally settled on a vehicle. I had the car for two days and I knew it was just not what I wanted. It was something I settled on to get to a payment. The payment was right, the interest rate was 23.75 percent....wrong. So I decided to try to trade it the next day. I thought I would not be able to get what I really wanted accomplished. Was I ever wrong! I talked to one salesman at one dealership, Tony Schumann at Suntrup Hyundai. I told him about my deal and what we were up against, he told me to come in and we would work on getting me something I really like. We walked in twenty minutes to closing time, apologized and told him we would be quick and not hold him over. He told us closing time was when the customer was fininshed and he didn't mind helping us at all. He showed us several cars and never rushed us. I had a payment range I wanted to be in and he never tried to upsale me. When I waivered a bit and looked at a less expensive model, he didn't try to push the more expensive one on me. He introduced us to his GM, who was just as kind, even offered to let me drive the vehicle home to make sure I liked it. I chose to drive mine home and told them I would be back tomorrow with a decision. Approximately 17 hours later I was back, getting the very cool car that I wanted, with a payment I could afford, and an awesome maintenance plan and warranty. Texanne helped me with financing, going way above and beyond because this was a truly TOUGH deal. She explained everything to me so that when I walked away I didn't feel like I had just been run through a ringer. Tony is the first salesman to sit with me for as long as I needed and go through all the toys on my new ride. He was very knoweldgeable and this car is loaded with new technology! I have purchased several new cars in my lifetime. This was truly the easiest most pain free purchase yet. In fact, I have already referred a customer to Tony tonight and I will more in the future. I started this process on line and the day my daughter's old car died for good Tony had her in a new vehicle, driving off the lot in Missouri while I was still in Colorado. When I got to St. Louis for my planned visit I was able to get the car registered, plated in MO, title application, property tax waiver and insurance all taken care of for two years. Couldn't have asked for better service considering the complications of the owner of the vehicle residing in a separate state from the driver. More
I only spoke with Tommy on the phone. Once I got to the dealership and looked at the exact same cars I saw online, and saw they were marked up about $4000 for misc packages and whatnot, I walked right off dealership and looked at the exact same cars I saw online, and saw they were marked up about $4000 for misc packages and whatnot, I walked right off the lot. I have heard horrible things about Suntrup and even saw they had an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau but I figured I would still go and see, because I figured there was no was they could advertise a car on the internet for $4000 cheaper than it actually was on the lot. That is called "Bait and Switch". Well come to find out all the bad reviews and BBB rating proved to be right. I am not sure how they continue to get away with this but it's ridiculous. The only reason they can advertise that they will give you 5k over Kelly Blue Book is because they put unheard of packages or unwanted packages on every new car that conveniently takes the sticker price up about $4000-$5000. Please beware of anything that is "too good to be true" because it most likely is, and thank you Suntrup for reminding us all of that. More
I went to Suntrup Hyundai to look at new cars, when I got there I was greeted by Tony and he was fantastic from the start. Tony Brought me inside asked my wife and I if we wanted something to dring and the there I was greeted by Tony and he was fantastic from the start. Tony Brought me inside asked my wife and I if we wanted something to dring and then proceeded to ask us basic questions about what we wanted and needed after about 15 mins he said to us let me bring a few cars around for you to test drive. Tony went out and got a brand new Sonata and pulled it up. I knew right then that this was the car for me and my wife. Tony came in and got us and he actually had popped the hood open as well as the trunk and told us about the car ( safety features, warranty, maintenance, and the features inside the car. ) I was impressed with the knowledge that Tony knew about the car, after the test drive I told Tony no need to bring any more cars around this is the one I want. Tony then got information from our trade and started to work on getting my wife and I our new car. I was then introduced to Mersad the GSM and then Tony went into the office ( all the while we talked back and forth to Fred Bird) Tony came back out with numbers and we purchased the Sonata. I was so impressed with the ease of buying a car from Tony and the friendliness of everyone there. My wife and I Then went into the business office and Texanne had all the documents ready for us to sign. Tony had the car ready when we came out and went over the entire car and we went home, after we got home we realized that we had left something in the car and called Tony to retrieve it for us and went back on Tony's day off and Fred had it at his desk waiting for us. I will definitely go back to Suntrup and Tony in the future for any cars I want to purchase. WAY TO GO TONY AND THE ENTIRE SUNTRUP STAFF! WE HAD A BLAST AND FELT LIKE FAMILY! Lee More
