This is my second purchase from Suntrup Hyundai, and without a doubt, I will never buy a car from ANY other dealership! Tony Schumann is the best car salesman I have ever come across. He has been awarded salesman of the year since 2010 and there are many reasons why. It's very refreshing to have a salesman treat and respect you like a human being an not just their next sale. He spent ALL day handling every request with the up most care, going above and beyond for me in many aspects of he deal.He answered each question with true answers and no sales pitches to read through. I just LOVE my new car because he found me exactly what I asked for, and made it happen for the right price. Although I don't plan on buying again for some time, I just cross my fingers he will still be there for the next. The finance people are just as great. Jason was amazing. He seemed like he genuinely cared about helping me and getting me into a car I could afford and a car I actually wanted. They gave me a great deal on my new car and completely paid off the loan I was already in plus some which not only gave me a clean slate to start with but also a little bit of equity. I purchased a used, "certified" 2007 Grand Prix in March 2013. After test driving it steam began to billow from the engine bay which should have been my signal that Suntrup doesn't do much to certi in March 2013. After test driving it steam began to billow from the engine bay which should have been my signal that Suntrup doesn't do much to certify their cars. As a result, I was told the water pump and air compressor were replaced. On three separate visits (1. to replace side view mirror, 2. to clean throttle assembly, and 3. to investigate sloshing sound from dash) within 2 months of purchasing car I reported a smell of coolant, and less coolant in the overflow reservoir each time (in addition to the main reason for each visit). Each time I was given an excuse. Since then I replaced the transmission. Today, coolant was visibly leaking from the water pump so I returned to find out they have no records of ever replacing the water pump, despite being told by Chip it had been done. Suntrup made countless mistakes in the process of selling this car including not signing the title, poor salesman (Chip) communication, and not fixing problems after being given multiple chances. Additionally, my car was nearly totaled by Craig Suntrup after he came within feet of a collision with it while it was being driven by a serviceman. I will never purchase another vehicle from any Suntrup dealership as it is clear that their only concern is revenue, especially if you're purchasing a used vehicle. More
From the time I walked into the dealership I felt at ease. I had put in a request to come look at some cars, and I was almost instantly responded to with a video from Tony of a overview of their current ease. I was able to come in and close on a deal in a timely manner without feeling like I was getting swindled or swayed into something I would regret. The price was just what I was looking for. Tony was able to help me get out from my current upside down car payment, plus consolidate some of my higher interest debt into the car loan saving me $200 a month. I have not had my vehicle in for its first service yet, but the car was delivered in pristine condition. I will be referring Tony and his team to my friends and family if they are in the market for a new car. More
