If you ask why I would not recommend this service center, it's because that "hometown" feel that used to be there is gone. I can get an oil change anywhere. It's when you make your customers feel special, they want their friends to go there, too. More

A Comedy of Errors I spent nearly $40,000 at this dealership and that entitled me to rather apathetic customer service, calls and emails that were never returned over th I spent nearly $40,000 at this dealership and that entitled me to rather apathetic customer service, calls and emails that were never returned over their failure to pay off my trade in causing me to have to make a payment for a car I didn’t even own anymore and a comedy of errors in relation to what should have been a simple service experience. Neil was polite and helpful, Caleb was apathetic. I brought my truck in for an oil change and had already scheduled a service appointment the week after that to have an issue with the A.C. repaired. My immediate welcome experience from Caleb was to be told that the MyChevrolet app they touted was not linked to their system and that the service appointment I scheduled through the app was not on their books. I was told that they do not communicate with each other and it would be best to contact the service center directly but they got me in anyway. While doing the oil change the service technician noticed that one of the axle seals was leaking (might I just point out that this is a brand new truck and this is the second issue) and that they had the part but I would have to schedule the service. I asked that the axle seal repair be placed on the service ticket I already had for next week. Caleb said he would do that. I also asked that someone look at the missing strap for the tonneau cover. Caleb came out and took a look and then went to the parts department and discovered that the strap could not be ordered separately and told me that I would have to make do with some nylon straps (that I would have to obtain). How is it that a customer who has chosen your dealership for this purchase is told to simply make do with a make-shift solution? I did not lose the strap. I received the truck with a missing strap and the only way I would have known that before driving away was if I had rolled it up and attempted to clip it with the straps. I didn’t want to argue because I didn’t feel I would get anywhere so I left. I returned the next week to have my truck serviced. I was told I’d receive a call if the part had to be ordered. I received no such call and after an entire day of silence (30 hours), which appears to be what you should come to expect from this dealership, I called to ask for an update and was told that the part had to be ordered but that it arrived that morning. They called me later that evening to pick up the truck. When I arrived I was given keys to someone else’s car, which made me really worry about my own truck’s security, and had to walk all the way back to the service desk to switch them out for my own. While I was walking to my vehicle I noticed that the service ticket only listed one repair, but not the other. I brought it back inside and asked Caleb, who set up the ticket in the first place, why only one repair was done and not the other and his answer was “I don’t know. Wait for Neil to get off the phone. I don’t have access to the tickets.” What, prey tell, is Caleb’s purpose if he is working at a service desk with no access to the service tickets? I waited for Neil to get off the phone and he apologized, said he was not made aware of the other repair (thanks Caleb) and assured me that the truck would be repaired before the end of the day. It was and I got a call to pick up the truck. Maybe it’s my fault. I have come to expect a certain level of service when spending tens of thousands of dollars and the dog-and-pony show that is the experience I’ve had certainly doesn’t live up to that expectation. I reached out to Kristy, the dealer operator, who responded with an apology and an assurance that she would contact me the next day. In perfect order of what I have come to expect from Sunshine Chevrolet, no one ever contacted me. At least they’re consistently unreachable and undependable. Trust me, I regret choosing this dealership, this brand (after having two repairs made on a brand new vehicle in less than 2 months of ownership) and will never do business with this dealership or brand again. I will ensure everyone I know steers clear as well. Mistakes happen, but this was a whole new level of sincere apathy and elusive dependability. I feel like I bought an old beater from a sleazy dealership because there was no attempt to make it right, no acknowledgement of their shortcomings at all and I was told to fashion a tonneau cover slip out of nylon strips. Maybe I should just use duct tape. Truly saddening. More

AC woes My AC stopped working. A condenser and hose were replaced. The next day the AC didn’t work again, they said the found another hose leaking. Fixed for My AC stopped working. Back to the dealer. This time they gave me a loaner. They replaced the compressor and again no additional cost. Works great now. More
